its only elders and krayts that drop em, and the chance is 1 in1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 of it droping. Good luck!

Actually that's totally incorrect.
I've looted 2 Exceptional Lances from NS Stalkers, 3 from Protectors, None from Elders, and a set of Exceptional Armor Shards from a Spellweaver

then you have great ass luck, and must still have killed over a million ns, because the drop is and is supposed to be rare as hell.

Remember though, the odds are not cumalitive. Look at the wanted posters, Luke is common, Han is uncommon & Leia is rare. However, in my limited trooper killing I haven't looted any Luke or Han posters and have gotten two Leia posters. Just because it's supposed to be rare, doesn't mean that occasional good luck won't happen.

It's not really luck as much as the ammount I've killed.
1552dmg pupped lva tears through them pretty quick
btw exceptional doesn't always mean good...I have a 300dmg exceptional lva with no dot lol

no. I did looted maybe 4 or 5 exceptionals with my combat toons in all time I've played (and I didn't play for 4 moths on last year) and all came from low level sisters. Elders are nice for rebel transmissions nowdays

i only wish they made other things than nightsisters drop the stuff, im a NS roleplayer and i need to keep my NS FP at +5k

Yeah any NS, but your more likely to find a skill tape off a NS before you get an exceptional/legendary weapon or item from them. And the Ns havent dropped a skill tape in over 5 months...
Oh and the reason leia is a rare poster is because you cant get them from stormies like han or luke, you can only get them from high end imp officers.

Thanks for all the help guys ! I went out to try and kill some NS last night but i got my arse handed to me by a protector. Dang biches are mean... So for ive looted loads of vibro lances, all of which have yellow names, but nothing to great as of yet. I did get one lance damage sliced to about 441 max damage. Anyone know if this is any good? im no pikeman so i have no idea
