Thread: Friday Feature December 17th – Wookiee Life Day

I enjoyed the life day quest (got the Patriach), but I would think that a bit more animation would have been nice. Of course, I think that this game lacks sufficient animation in most areas, so I wouldn't expect to see it here.


I'm not a complainer, they did just add what they call over 20 new DEVS to the team. What exactally over 20 means, I'm not sure, but I think it's somewhere between 20 and 21. Maybe they are waiting on that guys urine screen to come back...


Anyway, I hope that when you guys add Kashyyyk as a playable planet, the Life Day celebrations in the wookiee tree-top villages willl be more elaborate. You will be adding Kashyyyk won't you? (Fingers are crossed) I'd personally like to see Dosh as a Trandoshan, but everyone likes those dang flea bags more than us, so I won't hold my breath.


Thanks for the story based quest for a change. Life Day = Star Wars Fiber! Yay!


Hows about some more SW Fiber events like Emporer Appreciation day or some planets own original holiday, to show that these are real planets. I always ask for just a little too much. Sorry about that.

Thank you Devs for the Wookie Life Day! I love these kind of quests with cool gifts. I only hope there are more of them. I finally got all the cool wookie paintings. Was it crass that I asked at the Wookie camp: WTB Patriarch Painting...it kind of worked though. I found someone who wanted to do a trade. lol

It's amusing that the link at the bottom of the Friday Feature to the "more information on the origins of Life Day" makes no mention at all of the horrible Star Wars Holiday Special. I heard a rumor that George Lucas wanted to purge that video from existence, maybe its true .

I don't think I'm going very far out on a limb here.... but I think that the majority of subscribers do celebrate Christmas.


So.... that's my two cents....


Political correctness is somewhat irksome... and I'm sure a majority would agree.


Please forgive me for bringing such a sensitive subject up. I'm sure there is another place for this topic....

I just wanted to say that this is a fun guide. I learned some interesting things about Wookies and their holiday, and as a SW geek that's important to me. The links to the Starwars.com features were useful, too.

lol. i still have the Star Wars Christmas special on my puter. Burned it a long time ago. Quality is well.. lets just say.. mediocre, but still pretty cool seeing the young wookies. Would love to see this christmas special on dvd. just for old times sake.

Yeah it would be nice to know. I think my Wookie was "born" on the 2nd. I checked today with him on a whim and get the same message as well. Hopefully it's not a switch that is permenantly switched.
