Thread: Friday Feature July 23rd – All Badges earned on Bria

Why is the "Game Guides" forum used as a general dumping ground for posts that don't fit anywhere? When I first saw this forum, I assumed it was intended to be for players to post guides they have written for other players, yet it has become much what the old SWG Discussion forum was -- a place for questions, rants, bugs, and so on. I have no idea why a Friday Feature on the number of badges players on Bria have earned is considered a "Game Guide".
Personally, I like seeing stats such as this. It shows some interesting trends (like not many people actually master the Politician profession) that I *hope* the Devs are looking at closely to determine what might need some tweaking.
I am curious as to how many of these badges (particularly the profession badges) are players that are now Jedi (aka those that were hologrinding). I also wonder how many of the current badge statistics are for players that haven't logged in more than a month.
As I said, I enjoy looking at these stats, but I wish a little more effort was put into them. What was posted gives the appearance of something thrown together in 5 minutes so that a Friday Feature is available, but the lingering questions I have as well as the fact it is only for Bria show it lacks quality. Just like so many things in game, it appears rushed with a priority on deadline/quantity over quality.

Looks like the events team needs to hand out WAY more accolade badges. (I have a nice bio, by the way)

Obviously these numbers were not taken when the server was copied onto TC2 because it was impossible to get this badge before publish 9.

...has been recognized as being a tribute to their profession 8
...has been recognized as an exceptional guide to those seeking knowledge 1
Gee I guess the other 16000 players on bria are just a bunch of jerks. Come on event team get the lead out.

I agree, this one is kind of weak, but they can't all be earth shattering announcements.
I do wish it was for more than just Bria though

I agree with previous replies that it's a shame pre-badge profession mastering isn't included in badges. There must be a record somewhere of those professions that were mastered and given up before.

Seriously... FF is a joke anymore... Nothing excites me more than seeing what players on Bria have done....
Why not save it til you have logging for all servers?

Apparently, it's only because it was a copy of Bria using extra logging for testing that they could do this query at all.
Then they should've held off.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. 16,000 toons and 1Helper badge? 10 Personality badges? Only 94 Bio badges? Very, very sad.

I have to agree... I've been disappointed with FF's lately. Personally, the JTL FF's are bad. Those are marketing tools, not FF's. /shrug
