Next time, something more simple ? How to program a database ? How to debug the SWG client ?
Sorry, it's sucks, /gwho should be implmented in game since the very first day of SWG opening.
well, you set up the alias only once, then you can use it as long as you don't switch guilds. yes it may sound complicated, but that's a nice feature to have.
also, if we start what should be already implemented in the game and not, everybody could name a few features. how about enabling copy-paste functionality in the item properties window for starters.
All we'd have to do is say...
Feture requests:
1) WoW interface (all of it)
2) The stuff in EQ2 that isn't crap
3) the end
You can also put em in your friend list... hehe.
Many thanks!
Tip -Keeping your Ham bar resized...
If you're like me you can't stand the 1 inch long ham bar. So you drag it to however long you want it right? Wrong, the devs still haven't allowed us to keep things stuck in one spot...
So, what do you do? Go visit an entertainer and get a mind buff. For 3 hours (and if you bug it an extra 20'ish mins) you will be able to resize your ham bar window. Of course you could use foods, wear armor, or carry a weapon...but seriously...entertainers need love too...
Tip - Chat tabs resetting...
Don't log off...or...don't log off...
thunderheart?
thats a nice tip, but why you not simply implement such in the friendlist feature like almost all other mmorpg?
it bothers me since beta that you dont have a guild window with online status etc. thats common sense and technique which SWG should have since long time.
if you got trouble with such coding then please ask your friends from eq2 coding.
it cant be that hard to implement such more then needed features in a game like swg.

The fix for that is to run a macro like this when you are in that situation (I call mine "blink"):
/blink
/pause 120
/macro blink

While browsing the bazaar, if you simply let your mouse cursor sit on the name of an item, a little window will popup under the mouse with the details of the item for sale. No need to open up the "details" window unless you want even more information.
This includes little things like, the name of the item or resource, the amount of the item or resource, stats on some items and most resources, etc. For the resource sellers, this means that it's not necessary to reload all your vendors each time there's a server reset.

On that same topic, I like to open the details for one item, click the >> button until I've clicked through them all, then browse the items. That'll load all the descriptions in the background so you can then easily browse from item to item in the details window and not have to wait for the information to load for each one; they'll all already be loaded.
