No, it is not tradable.
Yes, you can repeat the quest, but it can be looted only once per person so if you are on a group of 8, take turns looting HK-47.
Will it decay? Its great to have this icon, but if it becomes useless over time whats the point? Its easy enough to blow these player ships up and end up with a 1hp frame.

Ship chassis and components can not decay below 10 hps.
Since I wasn't in beta long I couldn't get this, only got through the first leg of the quest. But a few questions that I had, which someone will no doubt ask over and over

Kindarin, I think you should doublecheck this. Yesterday I attempted the first dungeon (Kubaza Beetle Cavern) with a mate and we failed. FYI, timer was set to 20 minutes to complete the dungeon and, after failing, we could not attempt it again because there was a timer preventing it. After 30 minutes of waiting, I got tired and left. Thus the timer must be 60-180 minutes to be able to give it another try

Timer on the old republic part is 3 hours
Anyone find the 2nd log access?
ive gotten past the research facility but when i try to open the blast doors to the droid factory it says i dont have permission, so i use the blast terminal it says i dont know the codes, i use the other terminal and it says its offline... any idea **edit** is going on?
where are the codes, what are they, how do i get in... im stuck ![]()
Let me get this straight....you have to do the whole quest over again to get the YT or is it like necrosis where you just do the last bit over and over again...
Also I did this with a group....will I be able to go inside the droid factory with another group...or does this passcode change and I got start over?

There are not two log terminals...when you are in that room, the log terminal is to the right and the main systems terminal is to the left. You have to use the main system terminal twice in a row, THEN you head to Delta-Five.

Yeah, seems that since Beta they decided to add these lockout timers. I'm a little confused, personally, why they didn't let us test them in Beta because so far everything that was bugged--that I have seen--has been fixed wonderfully. Very disappointed.
On a side note, my group last night failed first time around in there and had to wait 60 minutes on the dot. That is still way more than it should be, because if your guild or friends form a group to go in there--you want to get it done, not sit outside the door for an hour waiting for your second chance.

Go up to the blast doors, hit the ~ key to open the radial menu, hover over "open" and then pick "Decrepit Droid Factory."

There is no passcode...read my reply above--just select the option where to go.
That door accesses more than one Dungeon, folks...so you have to be sure you pick the right one.
