best part of old days was the hunting groups for sure. iremember going to coro every day and making a 20 man hunting group to go somewhere. back then was the good old days. id loveto see an old school server. but also, call me crazy, what about an all jedi server. seriously, every1 gets to pick their skillz, and its all jedis. think abou mass jedi battles like back 4000 years ago in star wars times. just an idea though.
and yes, id relive the first month as many times as i could. all noobs suck the noobness up, cuz once you get good its no longer fun

The only reason it all seemed better was because it was NEW...I only started in Jan and i remember thinking back to when i didnt know what creature was gonna show up next when that music began...And everything i did seemed like an adventure because i didnt know what to expect.
The more you see things then the less exciting they become...its theNEWNESS that you crave, not the way things were..Just like a girlfriend who is new and exciting at the beginning, then it becomes stale after a while and you look back and think 'If only it was the same as it was in the first month'
The past is gone, we can all look back with fondness on some parts of it no matter when we started but, things change! and thankheavens for that!!

Well about 4000 years ago was the time of the mandalore wars, so imagine republic soldiers fighting along side Jedi against an onslaught of mandalorians. Another thing though, In SW Episode 2 Palpatine says "I will not let this Republic that has stood for a thousand years be split in two." Yet in KotOR the republic is around and it takes place 4000 years ago...hmm.

GROUP rancor hunting on dathomir & my bada55 undershirt that disappeared
.
Like someone said before, when I first saw someone with composite armor, I was like "What the hell is that????".
Also, I read something on this, but forgot what it said: the decrease in spawns for creatures in the wilderness.
I was a Master Ranger and I "ranged" very well. I've kept the area track, but now there are countless times when I find no trace of animals. It has become an almostLONELY experience running in the "wild" and not seeing anything. The other day I ran from Dragon Flats on Rori (Corbantis) to some city on the far west side of the planet and came across one group of creatures about 6km into the run. That was it.....
Get rid of buffs & psycho armor & make dabbling undesirable for making "uber-templates". This is how you fix SWG. Get rid of these high defenses, keep this new force sensitivity (gives players a reason to group hunt huge creatures for xp) & makes each professionunique for what it is, instead of the specials it has.
Come on combat revamp!

I miss those exploring days where you could go across the vast plains Dantooine without seeing another person or building outside the outposts. Those were good days. I've here since the third day and yeah, I'd relive it. A galaxy to explore only on foot and the first Unification day. I wonder how may hours I actually spent treking across Yavin IV and Dantooine on foot seeking knowledge of the Jedi.

Well, aside from the fun first few days of "playing" or lack of playing...the first month was crazy fun. But mostly because the whole game was new. I still have screenshots of me and some friends in all our glorious noob clothing. What a ragtag group we were.
I think we all probably have stories like this.
Memories...memories...

i agree the first month was the best month i have played in this game, but what i really miss is the first week. For me the best part was learning a new interface, but i do miss the fact that you didn't have to be buffed with a full set of armor to get by. Reading all these posts make me want to go start a new characeter and do nothing but master all the basic prof. i can, lol
