Every Friday, we post a feature. The feature is an in depth tip, some screen shots of some up and coming game features, wallpaper and that sort of thing.
As it stands, everyone is eager to see a Friday Feature on Combat Upgrade. We do have some Combat Upgrade Features coming up, but they are not going to happen every Friday.
What I would like to know, is what sort of Friday Features would you be interested in outside of Combat Upgrade materials?
Thanks very much for your feedback.

I'd like information on the upcoming Cries of Alderaan-like story arcs that I know you've got planned.

I'd like to hear from GreenMarine... We know you have him chained in the basement... Let the poor guy out.

Myabe a return to the questions that vanished a while ago.

I also wouldn't mind a breakdown of what each of the devs play so that we get an idea of what YOU see when you play.

And of course, any kind of statistics regarding the GCW, the economy, and other things.

PS- Please don't do the loot table and percentages thing. As it is,my groupscan't get into certain POIs because people are either camping or a jedi just single handedly wiped out the entire place.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

The economy one was pretty cool, can we see how your efforts have paid off?

I would like to see a feature every so often to projects your working on, not real details but maybe a sentence or two about each project.

LIke before you announced the GCW changes or the group loot changes if you would of given us a little information about it before you posted the whole thing.

Kind of like a teaser.

I'd love to throw my hat in for more astromech stats, but I don't want others to start complaining that they don't get whatever feature they wanted and start suggesting the devs are taking the easy way out.

Of course if you want to open a new section of the website that auto-updates with a few of the key stats (after all some of the economy ones you admitted to monitoring regularly) then I'd be very happy (or )

If not stats what'd be cool is a bit more of a behind the scenes feature, like the JustG diaries in the run up to JTL launch.

I would like to see a friday Feature that included maybe some of the following....

A list of known bugs and eta on possible fix (if possible).

A question and answer Friday feature, where questions actually got answered besides with the cookie cutter response "We are looking into it".

Stats are always welcome, from economy to professions to Population.

Smuggler upgrade info-Tyrant told us to wait for the announcement.. well we are still waiting

Friday feature on server population stats would be cool.

I agree totally.... each server argues on the ration of Imps to Rebs,,, and the number of Jedi.

We would love to see a server breakdown so people will quit speculating.

That would be cool but it would need to have players who haven't played for at least 40 hours (or more /less) filtered outto exclude the characters that are just created to try something out or for lot swaps etc.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

Nice responses guys....

Aside from CU updates, which as you said, have us all chomping at the bit, how about making them have some substance. The one we had two weeks ago was just....bad. Maybe a Q&A with a Developer? What happened to the 19 questions? We could do with some form of look at what direction you, the Dev Team and the Community Relations team, see SWG heading in. What happened to actual stats like the Astromech? These are things that we have been missing. Wecould do with a sense of direction from you all as to how our money is being spent in regards to what we, the whole reason for SWG, want.

I'm not asking fora hard timeline for things, butmore along the lines of what is next. We know some of the things that ARE next are merely in the concept phase and may not even be off of paper yet, but knowing where you see us going in the forseeable future would be a big boon to keeping us here and interested. I for one will be here until the last shuttle leaves(Servers are shut down )as I am a big league SW Geek. This does not mean I will eat every bit of tripeyou all try to shove into my mouth, it means I expect you to spend my money WISELY.

How about some Friday Feature going into the intricacies of a profession, or the dos and don't of piloting? You could help the up and coming crafterwho may not know to check their profession forums with some form of useful tip, such as what stats in a set resource enhance what stat, etc etc.(I am no crafter...it skeers me. You make it, I'll break it) You couldeven point some of the newer players to their prospective galaxy/profession forums and give them a brief "How To" in navigating it. How to avoid trolling, baiting, flaming and general ranting. The first time forum user has a daunting task in trying to"fit in" enough to ask what he may think is a stupid question.

How about listing the FridayFeature smack on the front page of the main site with an image like they used to have. It seems lately that we get a bit of text. Honestly, people respond to "purty pictures" before text. If one of the top two pics say "Friday Feature" people will click and go look.

Let me just saythis, and some may disagree, or not want to say it...whatever. Wasting a Friday Feature on things that are better suited for Tuesday Tips is just that....wasted. We as long term players look forward to a worth while FridayFeature. New players will see them as a new, much touted bonus. Along the lines of a "Hey, look what I came here in the middle of!"sort of thing. Get some of those Devs to come post. Someone asked for pics of the SWG studios and a basic in and out of a day in the life of a Dev. What is wrong with a thing like that? We used to have letters from Devs but those have started to fall off. For all of Cal's talk of communication we are back to the Tiggs and TH show(No offense).

Let's see everything about SWG. Early concept sketches, what one conceptual artists workplace looks like, the hoops George Lucas makes you all jump through. Believe it or not, we do find that sort of thing interesting. May be mundane to you, but to us, it is news. That is a basic psynopsis of a Friday Feature to me...news..NEW.

I would like to see a by galaxy breakdown of profession percentages. Also, what percent of the characters per server have which badges. I believe both of these were done within the last year but its been a while. Maybe you could do these two every six or nine months just as an informative update. Thanks!

I'd like to see a Friday Feature on Planet Highlights: interesting landmarks, quests, SW characters, dungeons with some background info to whet our appetites (especially as you update things and add new quests/loot). I've been playing this game since beta 3 and just found some new stuff (to me) on Naboo last night. Naboo fer chrissakes! I think it's all too easy to travel to familiar areas and overlook some of the neater things hidden on the planets. Using spaceships and shuttleports, I forget sometimes how large the planets really are.
