Thread: jedi temple
She tells me that she is looking for someone with an open mind toward an alternative government then the current one......
That sounds like not enough faction points or not enough faction rank. When i did her mission it was before the last patch, and i was alreayd 2k+ in reb faction and had earned 5 promotions (cant remember rank name)

Unless they changed it recently, that is incorrect. Before christmas (probably around haloween), my Rebel CH did both. I think anyone can do the dark Jedi ones, but only Rebels can do the lightJedi's quests

Actually I don't think rebels are able to attack all the targets for the dark jedi quest, I tried helping someone with the padawan slaying but couldn't (nor could I heal him - it would be unwise it said)
and do you get badge.
since both are no............. then there is no point in doing eitherof them
the answer to both questions is no?
oh, and here I thought that if you complete the light jedi quests that you get a normal Holo and the dark jedi quests give a Sith holo...
You get a Sith Holo from the Sith.. Its not a Normal one,
you cant trade or drop it (no house deco), but you can use it
as a normal holo, to tell you professions, you have to master,
IF a normal holo would be silent, this one is too.
The Badge for the temple you get my climbing up the
stairs of the main temple. I hoped, you would get it for
doing quest, but its just an explorers badge.
Only Rebels can do the Jedi mission under the waterfall, and only Imperials can do the Dark Jedi missions now. Each rewards a non-tradable holo.
The problem is that Rebels can START the Dark Jedi missions, but not finish them. The Padawan in the third and final mission of the quest is Rebel aligned. I SUPPOSE that if you were grouped with an overt Imperial, and then shot an overt Rebel who was not grouped with you, you could gain a TEF against your own faction and attack the Padawan. I know you can gain the TEF like that which makes you able to attack anyone of any faction, just not sure how it would work on the NPC Padawan.
Once you have started the Dark Jedi quest and then come to realize you can't finish it because of your faction, the Jedi under the waterfall will no longer talk to you. Your only option is to fly up the the mining outpost and talk to the Imperial NPC who's near the building by the Northeast gate (not the one by the Tavern), and reset your history on that planet.
The Rebel Jedi missions are much harder than the Dark ones. But I was still able to solo the dark savages and force crystal hunter with a lot of burst running and dizzy/KDing. You don't have to kill the entire mob though, just the target NPC. Both preceeding missions are to kill Storm Troopers.
Answers to a couple questions...
1) If the jedi under the waterfall won't give you any missions you can reset the quest at the Dant mining outpost. You'll see 2 "copies" of an imperial officer right on top of each other. That is the person you need to speak with to reset.
2)As a rebel I have doneboth of these quests. You MUST do the light Jedi quest first though. When you reach the final target for this quest you fight a tough SOB so be prepared. Also, I've done the dark jedi quest and when I got to the final battle (a Jedi padawn) I was able to fight him without any problems. He beat my A$$ rather quickly so I never finished it.
