Maybe R.I.S. related. The RIS armor currently being made doesnt only have very low stats, but also gives low XP to the crafters, which indicated that there's something missing

The slicing thing is a bug. Clothing and backpacks were also able to be sliced.
No, it is not RIS related. Also, who cares what kind of XP RIS gives? It's a Master Armorsmith only item.
All right this info may be pointless but may also be true , someone told me this in my first month.
There is supposed to be some kind of slicer on the south of endor , if you give him a mystical orb he would give you a 60 % slice. I diden't check the south bottom of the map , but there might be some NPC there.
I have one too. If anyone knows something please answer.

It looks like a red force crystal
i got one from the Lady Valarian series of quests
even before they gave me a special casserole (lol)

i have one also from the valarian missions didn't know what it was at first! because it looked like a force crystal t checked with a jedi friend and its just a useless generic item good decoration maybe worth something to the right buyer but not much!!

It might be useful...but i sold mine for 200k.
the "petrified egg" which looked like a petrified egg before and is a quest item too turned into a red crystal the same day.
Im pretty sure though you cant use it for anything but decoration or scamming n00bs (i dont recommend the 2nd)
