The pilot bandoliers handed out are for that factions pilots only.

You cannot therefor have a friend who earned their bandolier give you one to wear unless you are of the same pilot tree it came from.

{I have tried on my alts with no piloting, was given the you cannot equip this item unless you are a freelance priviteer.}

Now as for any JTL Looted ones, I still have not seen.

And have not yet heard of one being looted in ground game.

I suspect that this one was not looted at all. The two strap bandolier is given to imperial wookiee pilots as a replacement for the flightsuit they can't wear.

icky it's a two strap anyhow....that's uglier than the one strap and would look well....not as pretty as a pack.....i wish for the invisible pack someone suggested a while back...that would be SOOOOOOOOOO COOL!

It's possible this was looted, but maybe it's not intended to be a loot drop. Who knows what may have been messed up with all the newloot code.

Its possible. I know that I have looted quite a few two-strap bandoliers since that post and none of them had storage, so at least it isn't a normal thing to loot.

I always said that you should be able to use the looted pockets in bandoliers making the bando have storage.

Sounds like common sense to me and should be easy to impliment.

Are you positive about the faction req? I took privateer initially and got the bandolier reward, then dropped all pilot skills and went up the Alliance tree. I'm currently 4/4/4/3 Alliance, and wearing my bandolier rather than a backpack. I have on several occasions taken it off and still been able to put it back on.

If this is a recent change, I certainly will be careful not to remove it again

As far as I know only crafted clothing has sockets and we can't craft bandoliers with storage.

My pilots bando does'nt have sockets and even if we could craft bandos with storage the same thing would happen as with the normal socketed packs. As I would think the game would treat a bando with storage in the same way as a pack.
