1) Go to the recruiter and 'offer to make a donation'

Then you will see the available options for 1k or 10k.

And Doggie is correct on the amounts.

Also, if you have over (i think its 700?) faction points, you cn't buy anymore until you trade em off or use em up.

Shoga be right.

The other issue is unless your a Colonel or higher your trade ratio is going to be crap. For instance, if I am a colonel, I have a 1.12 to 1 ratio to trade faction points.

So to trade my friend 100 faction pints, i will actually lose 112 while he gains 100.

I have 1.18 transfer rate at colonel, not 1.12

Unless you have other bonuses for faction going on, this is what it should be.

I am 4 4 0 0 in smuggler. Can i purchase faction points from a recruiter and if so how many can i purchase at one time. I am not sure how this works.

actually that FAQ shows ya how to sell em to someone else via /delegate.

for detail on using your Underworld skill check the Smuggler FAQ, link in my sig.

Think of the SmugglerFAQ as the simple rules, and the Selling Faction FAQ as an Advanced guide

I've got a couple of questions about buying faction points from a smuggler 1] what do they cost the smuggler and does the level of underworld and master smuggler affect that? 2] Does the rank of the smuggler matter for the exchange and 3] how exactly do you transfer faction points anyways?

Also if anyone in Chilastra is interested in selling me 4700 imperial points let me know! In game name Notch

1) 80 cr per point to buy, then depends on the rank of the smuggler - colonel is 94.4 per point. Underworld doesn't matter, as it is Underworld IV to buy fp

2) Yes, the rank of the delegater is important, colonel is currently the best rank, 1.18:1 ratio.

3) /delegatefaction # <name>
