I'm in the same boat as a lot of the rest of you, dragged my Tusken's King Rifle onto the guard before the fix and am now stuck.
Thing is, if someone were to give us their Tusken's King Rifle, we could probably finish the quest. Since the likelyhood of anyone giving that to us (effectively barring THEM from getting the skull) is remote, a better option would be to get someone from another server to make a character on yours, rush them through the quest and get the Rifle from them.
Haven't tried this yet, mainly because I just thought of it
but it should work.

I have a character on Starsider who needs the Tusken gun. In exchange for someone creating a character on STarsider and giving me the gun, I'll create a character on your server and give you the gun. Please PM me here on the boards.

Yes, I too would be interested in knowing if there is anything I can do with this skull besides sitting it in my house.
And no, I didn't have any problem running this quest at all.

Is there no way to do the quest and keep both the gun and the skull? I think the gun is pretty cool too, and I'm collecting rare items...

I haven't started the quest yet, since I have been awaiting confirmation that it had been fixed.
Is there a way to get multiple guns? If so, i was planning on doing so to help out those who lost theirs to the guard, or getting multiple skulls to hand out to friends.
Anyone know if this is possible without ruining the quest for myself?

1 gun per person, sorry man. Problem is this is not like some other mission loot, in that it is actually a reward for completing the Borvo section of the quest.
Other loot being collected from missions are often the thing to be returned/Fed-Exed/whatever, and thus can be farmed by taking the mission, getting then storing the item, deleting the mission then restarting it. Since the gun is an end-of-mission reward, that is impossible to do.

I'm on my way to Tat to finnish the quest and havn't had any problems. For those of you stuck on the whole briefcase thing, DRAG AND DROP THE BRIEFCASE ON TO BROVO, then you'll be good to move on. talking to him alone won't let you move on.
