Thread: The Complete Guide To Death Watch Bunker By Wengel *MOVIES ADDED!*
Devs, please make it so that it doesn't take an uber-elite team to have a decent chance to get through the DWB. Not everybody who enjoys the game is able to put together an uber-elite team, much less do it on a regular basis if they hope to ever have *anything* crafted in the DWB.

omg, you people cry too much, my team on Bloodfin has made over 25 jetpacks, 4 pieces of armor, 4 jetpacks post cu 2 pieces of armor post cu and we have not one single problem, that place is too dang easy as it is, dont make it any easier. If anything make the mobs level 100+ make it fun again.
Well I guess you, like all other uber-elite players, think only of themselves and don't care for the average player. The DWB is waaay too tough for a casual group. A group that's made of casual players, not mega-obsessed uber-elite geeks -- which any team that makes 25 jetpacks probably is. And not all servers are going to have enough people to put together the kind of group that can make its way swiftly through the dungeon. There are many talented players who are simply bored by the DWB - or who'd rather be doing other things that are more fun for them. Yet as always the uber-elite players are thinking only of themselves... *sigh*.
The DWB was never for the casual player

Question: Materials for the items are still obtained same way as in original post? As in Bounty Hunter Armor drops from the Black Suns outside, as well as the Jetpack Base?

Says who?
It is only the selfish uber-elite players that think only of themselves and don't care about the rest of the player base.

Say, the orignal post from the Devs.

The Death Watch Bunker is a difficult, high-level adventure zone meant to be played with large groups of players. Should you be brave enough to venture into the bunker, expect fierce resistance, hidden foes and even environmental dangers. This is no ordinary criminal hide-out!

High level, meant for large groups = not a casual trip for casual players. Be real about it. It's meant to be VERY hard to complete...

Nowhere on that quote does it say it's not for the casual player... therefore you are misrepresenting what the devs have said. A casual player can be CL80, or even a Jedi, it doesn't mean they will necessarily be able to go into the DWB.
And the DWB could still offer "fierce resistance, hidden foes, and environmental dangers" after bringing it down a notch. Heck, you don't even need a rebreather when you're in the mines; it'll cut your action drastically but it doesn't kill you. All that would be needed is for the mobs to be brought down a notch or two.

Again, just because it's high-level and meant for large groups doesn't mean that it can't be for the casual player. Yes, it could be suitable for casual players and still be VERY hard to complete. But as it is, it only benefits the uber-eleet powergamers, either monetarily or simply by having more uber-eleet gear. This is why you are defending it so strongly - you want to this all to yourselves and not let others share in the fun. Yes, it still will be VERY hard to complete after it they bring it down a notch. No, jetpacks and mando gear won't ever be all that common because not everyone who has the ability to do the DWB will necessarily have the patience for all the multiple trips, because a lot of other players are working on other stuff, etc.
But, God forbid the uber-eleet powergamers should lose the advantage they have, because then what will they have to gloat about?

Meh, people don't understand, if it was EASIER then everyone and there mother would be running around with Mando and jetpacks screaming OMFG!!! I AM TEH BOBA!! No, make it harder so there is less.
That's not going to happen and you know it. Taking it down a notch will just make it more accessible to the kind of dedicated player who's going to stick with the project in the long run, while everybody else goes about whatever it is that floats their boat, grinding XP, PVPing, space missions, etc. And just because they bring down the level of the mobs a notch, doesn't mean it won't still be a strenous undertaking at best, not to mention that they can always tweak the drop rates for components, bh armor, etc.
But, as I said before, the uber-eleet powergamers will defend the status quo because they stand to benefit either monetarily or through having uber-gear, and your post just confirms what I said.
