Is anyone aware of a way to shut down a long macro early? That would be really useful to know.

there's no way to terminate a macro per se short of logging out, but you can build the macro differently.

Just in case noone seen it in my dirty long post and one other besides me /dump terminates/ kills / stops macros dead =P

Just copied and pasted the ones I didn't know (most of them) into word pad, and printed out for quick reference. My "quick reference" is now 24 pages!

Thanks to all for helping us noob's! The manual is ok at best, but there are always a TON of questions I have. This has helped a lot.

Oh, and *bump*

"So a "nerf" has come to mean any reduction in power to any part of the game"

Which puts a whole 'nuther spin on on nerf herder.

BTW, the ingame shorthand for /emote is a colon.

What I do is click and hold BOTH mouse buttons on an inventory item. This will drag it, even though the radial menu may pop up, it will still work. If you're dragging to the toolbar, your character may walk forward a bit as you enter the hot part of the screen since you have the right mb down, but just for a moment..

You can make a macro to take your armor on and off,

/ui action toobarPane05; (selectsF-key pane number 6)
/ui action toolbarSlot00; (selects F1)
/ui action toolbarSlot01; (selects F2)
/ui action toolbarSlot02; (selects F3)
/ui action toolbarSlot03; (selects F4)
/ui action toolbarSlot04; (selects F5)
/ui action toolbarSlot05; (selects F6)
/ui action toolbarSlot06; (selects F7)
/ui action toolbarSlot07; (selects F8)
/ui action toolbarSlot08; (selects F9)
/ui action toolbarSlot09; (selects F10)
/ui action toolbarSlot10; (selects F11)
/ui action toolbarSlot11; (selects F12)
/ui action toolbarSlot12; (selects Shift+F1)
/ui action toolbarSlot13; (selects Shift+F2)
/ui action toolbarSlot14; (selects Shift+F3)
/ui action toolbarSlot15; (selects Shift+F4)
/ui action toolbarSlot16; (selects Shift+F5)
/ui action toolbarSlot17; (selects Shift+F6)
/ui action toolbarSlot18; (selects Shift+F7)
/ui action toolbarSlot19; (selects Shift+F8)
/ui action toolbarSlot20; (selects Shift+F9)
/ui action toolbarSlot21; (selects Shift+F10)
/ui action toolbarSlot22; (selects Shift+F11)
/ui action toolbarSlot23; (selects Shift+F12)
/ui action toolbarPane00; (selects F-key pane number 1)

This will switch to pane 6, press all 24 f-keys and switch back to pane 1. If you don't have that much armor, remove the lines you don't need. This will work for putting your armor on and taking it off.

As a side note you can automatically end a macro by imputting the command /dump.

If your grouping with friends to do missions, it helps to turn the waypoint monitor on to seethe distance ofyour missions. To turn it on, press Ctrl+O, click on Misc button and check the Onscreen Waypoint Monitor check box.

(it's ok when it's a good thread like this)

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

lots of good info thx to all.

didnt see these tho

>>> some player cities have classifications i.e. research city or improved job market

RESEARCH CITY ... will give you crafters an added bonus chance of getting AMAZING SUCCESS'S

IMPROVED JOB MARKET ... will have higher payout missions

and this one i learned by getting CHEWED OUT by another player for doing

>>> ever notice that some times lairs are named "mound" or "brambles" while some are labeled specifically "Hurton Pack Lair"

well the generic labeled ones are non-player mission lairs and the others ARE. this one i was happy to learn

enjoy Zen
