Yes, it's certainly a bummer, but I think its only fair to remember the core development team members focused exlusively on bug fixes and quests can probably be counted on as little as 2 hands, and they are trying to satisfy the demands of nearly 250,000 players worldwide.

That's a lot of opinions.

The quest should be fixed in the next week or so.

Me and two other PA mates finished it today. We all entered at different parts and was able to complete it.

I was stuck on the part where to have to talk to Thale. I thought I was stuck because the walkthrough at the beginning of this thread said:

The one you need to talk to is actually Thale. Note that if you simply approach him and select the option to converse, he will tell you that he doesn't know who you are, or what you want and will dismiss you. The quest is not broken, what you HAVE to do in order to talk to him is drag the second ledger you have in your inventory over Thale (you will see the icon change into a hand). Once you drop the ledger onto him he will say 'Good' (the ledger disappears form your inventory). Now when you select the option to converse he will talk to you.

I didn't have the ledger, but he talked to me simply by using the normal procedure.

The rest of the walkthrough seems to be correct.

Any word on those of us who lost the rifle to Huff's guard? I'm at work so I can't check it out. Anyone else find this out yet?

Day after the big update, saw an notice about the quest been fixed and went to Huff.

I had given the gun to Huffs guard and Huff won't speak to me and I can't start the quest over. Borvo will not speak to me either.

I want to complete this quest but i don't know how to.

I lost the gun with one of my guys and no luck on that huff wont talk to you till you drop the gun on him im sorry tosay
