Since IgescaStorm is entirely too lame to help you understand, allow me to do so in his place.

One downfall to lower image quality (especially in .jpg format) is that color degradation occurs whenever there is a sudden change in color in a picture (for example, a change from a large light-blue patch to white text, as in the picture). To check this for yourself, take a high-quality screenshot of an item in-game, open it in a basic application like Paint, and re-save it in JPG format. After doing so, check your text by zooming in on it. You'll see the very same effect.

If you still don't believe me, look again at the accused Photoshop job, and use a little intuition. Why would that person photoshop in ALL NEW TEXT, including the item description? The simple answer is that he/she wouldn't.
