I too am experiencing headaches and dizziness, and I have flown in helicopters for a living and have never experienced motion sickness. It's simply not an option to play under these circumstances, and though I have chronic sinus headaches, they don't prevent me from playing like this has potential to do now.
I think the biggest thing is how it causes me to completely lose immersion in the game every time I start moving. It reminds me that it's a game every timemy toonso glaringly defies the laws of physics. This is also probably why it causes motion sickness in some individuals, because what your eye sees is not what your inner ear detects for motion and there's a window of response that the current game physics is outside off to avoid inner ear response.
Walking isn't an option since itis too slow to really be effective, especially when dealing with combat. And as if my close relationship to my ALT key isn't bad enough, I'd rathernot haveto keep my SHIFT key on a first name basis. I could try the non-alt keymaps they recently introduced, but they mess with my cruise control using my extra mouse thumb button.
I'll put some effort into trying to adapt to it this weekend but I'm not encouraged by the reports of illness.

You don't believe me at all? What part don't you believe? That I get dizzy? That I get headaches? It doesn't matter what you believe, Tiggs has already stated in the focus thread they are looking into the reports of illness due to this. Just because YOU aren't experiencing it doesn't mean nobody else is. As a matter of fact I chalked the headeache and dizziness off on my own chronic sinus problems until I read so many others having the same problems. Now I know why I haven't wanted to play all week when I usually can't wait to get home to do so.

Have you considered they might have needed to make the change for a reason?

@aries_liak: Now it's me that thinks YOU are lying. What kind of doctor are you (neurologist at that) who would call a patient reporting ill effects of avideo game a liarwhen almost all video games have warnings on them about seizures, etc? Or are all those warnings prompted by liars too?
The refuge of a coward is to claim that everyone is either a liar or a cheat. Why don't you contact Tiggs and give your professional opinion on the matter? Are you saying I'm lying about flying in helicopters too? And what the heck does your alleged military service andlanguageshave to do with anything other than as afeeble attempt to impress someone?
And once again, you didn't notice the BOLD PRINT.
Besides which, did you notice I said I was going to give it a try this weekend and see if I can get used to it, am I lying about that too?
Please, someone lock this thread.
You are calling me a liar? How dare you? I did fly jets and was a combat medic and I am also a doctor!
Come onthese are rediculous statement and the warning is for people with epolepsy who suffer seizures due to rapidly blinking lights. I know its factually impossible for this change to cause people not already prone to the aforementioned disease to develop symptoms related to it. 99% of the people claiming sickness is being caused by the games new movement are liars and using peoples real problems to mask there real intention of reverted movement to a style they personally preferred. The game has always been jerky. I have personally lagged so bad in c'net on multiple occassions it looked as if I was skipping through the city. The camera swings and pivots at 360's and can be jerk, flashy and annoying at times. Yet through all this 1000's of people could play previously and now suffer physical illness, dizzyness and siezures?
Its called Popycock and frankly I won't sit here and listen to someone use epolepsy as a cover for there true cause of not liking the games new movement.
