Ahh yes thats it, it was something like that, but first you had to open that window, then drop the pack into your house keeping the window open.. then you can do it.. it is something like that, it has to do with tricking the ui interface. It is something like that but I dont remember exactly the details. but I know it works as I knew people who have done it.

You can, and here's how:
Bring up the radial menu on the backpack and examine it. In the lower left hand corner of the examine window is a tiny picture of the backpack. Drop the attachment on there.
Tried it before, no dice...

My bad, I was at work when I wrote that and didn't have access to the game. I just tried it, and I was incorrect. I was going from information disccussed on TS.

First off, you're thining of the container window, not the examine window. Second off, that doesn't do anything except move it to the upper container, and Third off, you owe me 500 creds.
Um...ok. How do I owe you 500 credits? Let's make that 4th off.

The attachment doesn't vanish. After you drop it, it actually ends up in your main inventory again.

Outstanding! Thanks!
So, enabling packs to be socket craftable makes perfect sense. ![]()

Even though some backpacks may have sockets, they will not accept clothing attachments. There is no way to apply a clothing attachment to a wearable container like a backpack, satchel, cargo pocket, etc.
