I was just glowing. No unlocks, no holo-grind. I was in a player city on Coronet doing TKM meditate at a reflecting fountain. Logged off like that last night, logged in and he visited me. I was AFK....so I flew to another player city on Corellia, ran outside town and meditated. He came to me again in under 5 mins. Good luck...and May the Force be with you.

This is exactly how the game should be played. I also just content,POI, and Theme Park badges and have only mastered 3 professions that I wanted to master. When I logged on last night I had the "Bruce-Leroy" Inner glow. I did nothing special except enjoy the game. I know a player in my guild that grinded the heck out of most of the profs, has POI, Theme Park, and some content badges and she is still surging. We are trying to narrow down what she is missing and I told her was possibly the Corvette. I guess some of us just got lucky becoming glowy just by enjoying the game.

No offense at all to the non-grinders -- I think it's great that you guys are getting your old man visits. But I unlocked post-9, *and* have all the poi badges, warren, theme parks, vette, etc etc...over 100 badges total and I'm all glowy. And still no sign of the old man. I know I know...1-3 days, but come on...

Thats what I did. Just played the game and enjoy it. My old guild was always running around grinding out prof and when I logged on yesturday my old guild co-leader sent me a tell asking me to help out on the corvette cause he need one and the warren badges. He grinded out 31 prof and did some of the POI and theme parks. Yeah I feel for all the grinders out there if I could give you my inner glow I would.

Yeah, he'll come back. Just be patient. I had this happen to me on TC. I was driving and was only looking at the planet chat and didn't notice him until he came up. He came back after my next shuttle.

Just to give everybody some hope, I just had the old man visit me and I did not participate in the hologrind. I was online for a few hours this morning outside of theed. I logged in, drove to theed, shuttled to Silver City (on bria). Looked at the cool xwing they have (never seen it before), alt tabbed to look at this post. Alt tabbed back in and he was standing in front of me.

Once you get in the village, you return to the grind, though.
But I do like the beginning of the system much better for sure! And at least you can grind something you want to...

I missed the old man as well, I was outside my house ran back in and a freind said 'hey the old man is following you" Well to cut to the chase old man got stuck in a wall in the house and i could not talk to him. He ran off, so i logged off and back on. went to check some harvesters and wouldnt you know it a plains cat killed me. cloned went back to my house sat down about 20 meters from it and waited for about 5 minutes and he came back. WEW!
