Yeah my main has been playing for a year and has 30 POI badges, 4 content (working on nyms now), and all jedi ones. i have all the difficult poi badges and i have mastered 10 professions (only 6 are showing though, rest are prebadge). i have done 1 holo (MCH). and i get...
"you barely feel a difference in yourself" or some such crap.
Now my new alt....(2 months old) has 10 badges. 1 jedi one, no content badges, and 3 professions. Artisan, Merchant and Architect. and he is......
You feel a slight connection to the force.
I REALLY hope this is a bug.....cuz if my main is behind my alt i am gonna scream lol

Yeah, ive got the same problem.When i logged on after publish 10 went live, I did the /checkforcestatus thing and got " you barely feel somthing different about yourself. I only had about 20 badges.Since then Ivecollected more than 30 badges andthe /checkforce thingy isstill not updating. Asof now,Ive got about60 badges including: a corvette badge, Nym's badge, Jabba's Theme Park, Rebel Them park, all jedi relatedPOI's. I also have 5 proffesions mastered, 2 of them were holo proffesions. Im still getting " you barely feel somthing different about yourself." This has to be a bug!

Keith I have the same problem. I have almost 75 badges (4 away) and I'm still barely sensing anything different about myself. I've got all the POI's, all the themes except jabba's and rebel (even got corvette ones)Plus lots of excess badges from other things like profs and the three racing badges.
I can't help getting the feeling that somthings up...

From my experience and from those of friends, the info posted elsewhere with the "formula" (i.e. 3 Jedi POI, 6(?) "content" badges, etc) appears to be correct.
I moved up a rank when I visited the Jedi POI and a friend got "Glowing" after completing the Warren (the last "content" badge she needed to make the number required.)
So I'm not sure about how many badges in total are required. It appears that there's a "standard" route everybody can follow and some alternative ones, based on other factors, that also work.
If you really want your Glowie status, I suggest you follow the formula listed in the post elsewhere on this forum, as it appears to work.

thanks for the input everyone. i was thinking, what if you have to revist the poi sites? has anyone tried that. it could be something with pre-10 badges not giving you credit for visiting them, with regards to the senses. anyone try it, or not have a problem with the badges with respect to the "senses". keep this towards the top

Logged in on Tuesday and saw the posts about getting glowy so i thought ok i need to start on this. I ended up doing some 35 poi's that night and thought man you'd think i'd increase in glowiness. Didnt happen. I've done all but 8 of the location POI's i did go back and revisit the 3 of the 4 that i did prior to the patch (FT Tusken Pool) and i'm still at i feel a faint sense of the force. The only badges i hadn't really done were the content badges. I've only got the badge of compassion from the warren. So last night i decided to finish up the Imp theme park and almost got done with it before they shut the servers down early? Not unusual as you guys know when they decide they need to patch things up. Some things i did find odd was that some of my friends who only grinded professions were already glowie not the 32 but 22 - 25 they both have fewer badges than i do now. The only themepark one of them did was jabba's. Yet another friend who grinded 16 professions logged in as strong sense and he had done 75 badges allof the location POI's the imp themepark and both of the warren badges.Just figured i'd toss out my own experimentation and notes.

I've done everything in the guaranteed section of the guide to getting glowy faq.
Example of a garanteed route:
1 profession badge
Jabba's Themepark - Content
Nym's Themepark - Content
Rebel(or Imperial) Themepark - Content
2 Warren Badges - Content
3 Jedi POIs
Krayt Skeleton POI - dangerous
Sarlacc Pit POI - dangerous
Escape Pod POI
Lars Homestead POI
Bottom of the Theed Falls POI
Vreni Island Theater POI
Rouge Corsec Base POI
I have everything above except the warren quest
and I am still faint.
The only difference is i have 17 profession badges
and 4 of them are holocrons.

Well i was "Barely Different" until i did Nym's, I think it's that once you get your 3rd theme park completed, it boosts your force status a bunch.

I was faint when publish 10 hit.
I had all the requirements from the faq except: 1 of thewarren badges, all the jedi pois, and Nym's. I finished them up (didthe warren last) and I jumped from faint to glowing.

nice work so far guys, this is getting quite good. so i guess in one-hand you have the "sense" constently increasing for those semi-new to the game, as they come across poi's etc. and doing the themeparks. but i also see that there is a huge discrepency amongst the veteran players and knowing any increases in there "senses". this would make sense because most of us got the badges way back when, and this system probably only looks for recent jedi badges recieved, not ones recieved months and months ago. this would make sense to which some of you wrote about the huge jump after completing the themeparks. non-the-less, we still should be able to see if we are increasing as we go ahead and finish these requirements, thus i still think its a annoying bug .
