Sorry Cyras. I did re-read and you are still wrong. You show Darth Vader mission #5 as "Kill information broker" and mission #6 as "Kill Kaydeer". You are missing two missions in between these.

The second mission is driving me crazy. I find the sympathizer, kill him and his cronies, go back to the retreat, and Kaja tells me I've failed. This has happened like 4 or 5 times. I've even tried to talk to the sympathizer before shooting, but the mission still ultimately fails.

Is there a part of this mission I'm missing, or is it some kind of bug designed to make me pull out my hair? Please help.

On the second mission, if you are incapacitated, it gives you a message 'Your Mission has Failed.', but the waypoint is still active, and you can still kill the sympathizer, then the 'Finish Quest' Waypoint appears, but if you talk to her, it says you failed.

And I was a Lance Corporal with 1514 faction points starting, and on the first two missions I got the message "Your reward has been placed in your backpack." but I didnt get an item, so I decided to go get up to Sargeant and get a few FP before continuing.

Tujin I also never received any rewards othe than faction and got the same message about placing in my backpack. At the time of my doing the quests I was aStaff Corporal - that's four rank levels above Lance Corporal and had 1800 FC points going into mission one. So I don't think the faction points has anything to do with rewards. I think it's just a bug.

Also you fail a mission if you become incapacitated going, during or coming from a mission. You can reset the mission by deleating the waypoint and answering the NPC's questions about failing. Had this happen at least three or four times myself. Watch those assasins. They have a "Bleed" dot that lasts a long time and takes a quarter health size chunk out of your H bar every time it cycles. It also persists after you recover from incapacitation. I susggest /logout if your hit with this and restart, That cleared it for me.

I've had a dozen emails about this, most saying you need to be a dark jedi to talk to the emperor after the darth vader missions.

Additionally, I have confirmed reports that people have received pets and stormtrooper armor pieces from the emperor after finishing Darth's missions when they have Corporal and 2000+FP's.

Is it at all possible that you only get the Stormtrooper as a reward if you are Overt? Don't you need to be overt to buy/use one from the Recruiter?

Apparently the no-theme-park-rewards bug is known to the devs, and is being fixed in the next patch.

So I'm gonna go ahead and wait to do the Retreat.

About the Dark Jedi bit....they aren't in the game yet, are they? I'm not calling ANYONE a liar, but I haven't heard of anyone becoming a Jedi yet, and I certainly haven't heard of the DJ being implemented. How would someone know you've got to be a DJ to get missions from the Emperor.

Besides, wouldn't the Emperor and Vader just as soon kill you for walking up to them if you were a DJ?

Again, no accusations here, but I'm wondering how people would get this info.

TK: On the mission where you capture Borvo...in the guide you mention he's yellow.

I'm on the Gorath server, and when I come across him, he's red along with everyone else. I tried running him for a few minutes with him shooting at me (his gun does crap, didn't phaze me), yet I can't get him to stop and can't converse with him because he's red. Any idea?

Oh yea, excellent guide too! I'm looking forward to getting rewards (gonna get Corporal now that I've read that)
