Isn't there like 30 thousand kanji? (or am I thinking katakana or hiragana?)

lol no xD There are 52 hiragana + katakana (52 each), counting the repeats and not counting the smaller letters. If there were 30,000 katakana/hiragana thatwould mean that theyexpect 1st graders to learn 30,000 letters. ![]()
-and yes, there are probably more than 30,000 kanji.

It is much better to get teaching (taking a class) in my opinion because self learning this kind of language is very difficult (because it is not in romaji). I wouldn't really know though... I never learned like that, I'm Japanese ![]()

One last thing: Pikachu91, my name, is a misstake, really. I never thohgt I would post on the fourms, and I wanted to read the Jedi Fourms when it was still mysterious. So, please, dont think Im a Japanese/Anime nut/pokemon fanatic. It is true i do like the culture of Japan, and Anime, but Pokemon is quite stupid. So just dont pay attention to my name really.....

I wonder if the devs can fix SEAs in time so they don't have to fib to the Japanese about how things work too?
