Would this work for the friends list too?
Ex. /addf eq2.servername.playername
I havent played EQ2 since my first month ran out but as I recall yes you can do that in SWG and you can see the user go online and offline but they do not show up as active on the friends list.
When did they introduce email to EQ2 by the way?

Actually he is referrring to cross game and server chatting, not the mail system which was put in last week. The cross server chatting has been around since the launch of EQ2.

Don't bother with that. I have already seen so many coming back
... the advancement cap puts some kind of end to the game, as well as it lacks of so much '2ndary' content (housing etc.) - just my opinion

Do you know that you can not have 2 with the same name but in 2 games (like SWG and EQ2) in your friends list at the same time? SWG allows only one...

Considering the Tuesday tip is about Cross Game Email, my comment was perfectly accurate... yes you have been able to send tells and even add EQ2 players to your friends list for some time (I even submitted this info as a Tuesday tip a few months back), but the email functionality has only been added in the last week or so. Therefore, in the context of the thread (Cross Game Email), JohboBocal was indeed wrong "Yup, been doing this since EQII came out".

Wouldn't it be great if you could chat with in-game players while outside of the game? Like IRC or MSN or something?
