There's another oasis about halfway between Mos Eisley and Mos Taike, but far to the East. I found two of them myself many months ago just by noticing a slight purple/blue mark on the map, you should be able to see it as well, if not, try looking southeast of the Jabba bunker. When I checked it out there was 5-star fishing with no vegetation (that or 1). Combine that with a 96.0 quality fishing pole and you catch them like crazy.
