Thread: Is there anyone that can solo a NS Elder?

Hmmm...interesting post.
I am a master rifleman/master doc.
I can solo an elder in under 5 minutes. 90% of the time I never even get hit by them, and am not not use conceal shot. My rifle is player made too. Dont see how it can take anyone 15 minutes with rifleman.

I use my (speedcapped) master swords / master ranger / novice medic for soloing NS Elders.
Both stackertemplates and/or more medic do probably help to do this "easier" but they are far from *needed* to solo NS elders. Basically all that is needed is master swords and novice medic, the 140 SP I dump on Master Ranger are naturally not helpful at all vs. NS Elders (but as I do not stack up some random defense or be a doc to solo them, the 140 sp invested in ranger do not hurt either :-)).
As of your post-cu/r/b question, well... we don't know yet (no elite profs avail. and dathomir mobs not yet adjusted to post-cu/r/b needs on TC-5) but if it works out right(tm) noone *should* be able to solo NS Elders anymore :-P.

do what i do... get a SMC to tank it for you. The tamers, initiates, and dragoons don't last... but the other SMCs do. Find a spawn of these, waypoint it.... find an elder within 1k of the wp. Double bleed said elder, stay in 32m range and keep her intimidated. Run to the SMC. Peace when you get there and they will tank for you. Then get to max range and do a repeat macro, leave for 5 min and it's done.
i'm doc/2h spd capped. Plenty of dizzy packs, and stim Es. I do it without mind buffs if i have to. Just use air cake, ahrisa, brandy, and if a wafer here and there. Muon for backup. 800ish ph. And your basic 80/40stun comp.
With this method i usually get less than 250 bf before my buffs drop.. then i just rebuff and continue. Never have to leave the planet till the second set goes.

Well with noenergy or blast damage on my template I dont stand much chance against Nightsister elders but I solo'd the Nightspider cult elder in about an hour & a half 
(after she chased me halfway across Dath til I had no other choice lol)
(after she chased me halfway across Dath til I had no other choice lol)I'm master fencer, master pike, master brawler & medic 3340 & it was a hell of a fight, at the time I only had crappy health DOT's on me & the 80% kinetic resists meant I wasnt doing much damage either, worst bit was at the end when first my mind buff ran out, then I ran out of ahrisa, then with 20k to go she ran, dragging me through a nest of Ancient Rancors amongst other things! 20k's a lot of HAM to take down when you're using a LVA & they got 80% resists & heavy armour.
Then just to add insult to injury my master commando mate decides to turn up about 30 seconds after I've killed her (I'd been phoning him all the way through the fight begging him to get out there & help me)

i solo elders occasionaly. not that hard with master swords/master brawler and some TK/fencer and medic. not worth it though. they hardly ever drop good loot

At least one premium crystal out of 5 Elders and every once in a while a nice damage or dot pike for me lately.

speedcapped swords, m doc, med city buffs, 75%+ compo brandy, ahisha and ah alf decent hammer and providing the elder doesnt have a stun baton or a legion of followers, she goes down pretty fast

Not to be an ass, but i'd estimate a lot of that is going to be borderline useless after the CU

Possibly, but that really dont matter since I've made over 200+ mill from selling NS loot alone
