Mods from weapons, CAs, AAs, and BE clothing are added together and capped at +25
Food and SL bonuses will stack on top of that cap
(Assuming the food works in the first place)
so if i'm wearing clothes that already have +32 ranged, +32 melee, and +16 terrain negotiation, the only tapes i should be really looking for are double bladed ls speed/accuracy/block, general melee speed and accuracy, and force regen/max.
now i'm wondering how general melee speed and ls specific speed stack?
i mean do they have a speed cap at like 1.0? and if so, would it be necessary to have +25 ls speed, and +25 general melee speed or would speed cap before that?
wish this info was in the faq under the tapes section.
You should look for +9 to TN to finish that off
Also get DB LS Speed and Accuracy, General Melee Speed and Accuracy, and Force Regen
Force Power Max is worthless as +25 is not impacting on a 6k or 7k Force Pool
Block does not work with a LS, and there are no LightSaber Block CAs
You will not cap your speed with arrachments only. Force Speed will still improve your speed, even with +25 attachments and MLS

another question...i have a tape vs intimidate...does this work vs jedi intimidate or is that a different state than the normal combat intimidate...the reason i ask is the jedi intimidate/knockdown feature that keeps me from getting up really pisses me off and i'd be willing to invest in defending against that

ok...been talking about this to guildies and it was also mentioned that only the highest stat "Sticks"
i remember hearing about this ages ago...is this still true?
this makes almost all the tapes i have worthless for me to use.
Example:
i have a tape that is...
+7 melee defense
+20 one hand weapon accuracy
+4 db ls speed
so i guess only the +20 one handed weapon accuracy will "stick" and the mod i really want (the db ls speed) won't
this sucks as.s and makes all my looted tapes worthless to me...other than to sell.
I have another tape...
+8 healing efficiency
+15 dancing somethingorother (prolly bf healing)
I was going to use this on my bh for the healing efficiency, but i guess that tape's also worthless?
damn this suxs

No all mods on a skill tape will stick, but will use a socket for each mod.
For example you have a skill tape with +10 1-handed LS speed & +15 Weapon experimentation. If you drop it onto a shirt with 4 sockets, the shirt would gain both mods but would have 2 sockets left.

so when people talk about only the highest stat sticking are they talking about when you add a tape to cloting that only has one slot left? like if i had a tape with 3 mods in a 4 socket item then tried to stick another tape with three mods in it...only the highest stat would stick in that final remaining slot?
this is all retardedly confusing
