Thread: I sure do like having to login to the forums every 5 min
I get frustrated sometimes, but I like it better this way, less BS to wade thru

Currently you can stay logged in for up to 200 minutes.
If you close your browser (since it is a secure login as it has to check to see if your subscribed to the game) you WILL have to relog in.

We are trying to get the "auto login" to function correctly which is the only problem currently, and lithium and our web team are working on this.(not the developers of the game)
How? I don't know how many times I left the forum window open, and would go back to playing my game, Kill a spawn of NS or or something, come back and click on a forum message and poof, I'm back to the impossible to read JTL skin. I know it didn't take 200 minutes to kill a spawn of NS.

I've been very supportive of this game since release and remained positive. But now that I am but one of about 4 regulars from my guild (used to be 88 members) and see many in game things not get fixed or make playing tedious or boring or frustrating (no rants from me) AND see the community gateway (i.e. the forums) experience the same kind of fuzzy "not 100% broken" kinda talk AND see the same level of frustration from people observing the same thing and nothing being done to restore fix it I really do have to wonder about the future of this same. Been here since beta and expected to be the last one out but I'm just not sure any more.
I really hope something big happens soon and my enjoyment level goes up but I doubt it more each day.
And since when is "100% not broken" acceptable?
Sorry, but your feeling my growing frustration watching SWG, a game I have invested a lot of time and energy in, fading away.
Save us Obiwan, your our only hope!

Doesn't seem to work for me. Which homepage are you linking to? http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/index.html?

When I go here http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/ then click on forums, I remain logged in.
But if I go here http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/ Directly, I am logged out.

Sorry GarVa, but you can't stay logged into the session for 200 minutes at the moment. It looks to be around 10-15 mins (i've not timed it) and the session ends. I've not closed the browser, and this is happening in IE, firefox and Mozilla.
I was going to say I was reading a long thread, walked away and posted a reply and had to log in. And I know it wasn't 200 minutes, between 5-15 minutes.
