Its the fact that its everywhere, I didnt mind it before when it was only in certain places, but in my inventory and all the chat is killing me. I've gotten a migrain every night I've played recentlyand wondered why, I didnt figure it out till last night when I got one after being in game for only a brief period, but spending the whole time reading.

We need to at least have the option to remove it from text, for me I cant play for more than thirty minutes without getting a skullsplitting headache!

I don't get it. The text seems sharper and easier to read with the shadowing.
My thanks for this feature.

the new shadows were a tad disconcerting at first but like eveything else you will get used to it. Just like I hear the battle music in my sleep now.......

Reading alot of the text against a light backgorund (vendor browsing) hurts my eyes badly. The black text with the black shadowing looks like crap, not in the least bit classy. This needs to be an option to turn on and off. I don't believe it has anything to do with my Raedon 9600 xt vidieo card.

Simple solution: an On /Off switch for this, so the people who like it can keep it, and those of use who find it makes our life miserable can deactivate it. There's no right or wrong to shadowed text

I love the test shadows on players names, now I can read other Imps names w/o having a seizure (sp). The shadows on the text are good if you're on a relatively dark planet, but I got a headache trying to read text on Tat. Where is the option devs??

IMO everything looks much better with the drop shadow, but an option to turn it off in certain places would be nice as now my text sentence colourationfor "village" doesn't really work

Yes, the dropshadows are back... but they're offset a little too much, which is what's resulting in the blur for a lot of people.

Personal opinion:

shadow on tags...good, because otherwise they are unreadable against a light background, e.g. vendor names in a cor house. There were complaints when the shadows were deleted in the next to last publish.

shadow in chat and other windows...matter of taste.

Best solution: two options to control shadowing seperately for tags and other text.
