I've looted some good stuff off Nyax in the past.

In the 8 Times i've looted him i've got

AA - Melee Defence +11

CA - Polearm Counter Attack +15 (Broken but hey a big tape)

And the best one of all

CA - Weapon Exp +13

I was well chuffed after looting that hehe.

Rest was either credits or crybans..

I don't bother with him too much because hes so camped though hehe.

Other Than that NS's seems to be the best bet although i personaly have never looted an attachment off one...and i've killed plenty. Guess my lucks just elsewhere hehe.

Really? I've killed many stormtroopers(before I went Imperial) and have never looted a tape. I'll let you know about the Rebel npcs soon.

stormtrooper drop rates are HORRIBLE for me regarding skill tapes,, like at least for me i mean like NOTHING, maybe a +1 rescue occasionally. and i used to sell faction lol. ive gotten decent skill tapes from the Inquisitor inside the Weapons Facilities and while there isnt a huge spawn of dark troopers anywhere to be found they have dropped for me in the past

just pulled a 25 musical mind enhance tape out of a Dark Jedi Master a few weeks ago.. a friend looted a +24 weapon experimentation / +25 medical forage out of a DJM tho

he also drops weapons (looted an exceptional woodstaff once - 400 health opison for 600second, 99% pot and 3k uses), holocrons, crystals (quality / premium) and other stuff

just watch out. they got 350k+ HAM, Heavy Armor, 90% to everythin (vuln to Lightsaber) and use Lightsaber themselves.. so have fun when you don't have a jedi (one who knows how) with you.

normally i solo them, but it's way easier if a novice brawler or sumthin like that comes along and helps out with intimidate =)

actually you can even get a quest on em.. the only problem: you can't talk with the NPC that would give it to you. he's at the imperial prison on dath as prisoner himselve but the laser spikes outside wont let you in..

in former days you just had to relog to get inside but they kinda fixed that. well.. maybe i'll find a way how to get inside, i'll post it here =)

Nightsister Elders are mean mofo... Had one pull a powerhammer and use saber moves on me. "Lunging Saber Sweep" I died shortly after.

we killed an elder yesterday which used a STUN BATON.. funny thing. uor tank had a 40% stun armor and got hitted for up to 2k dmg while she was intimidated

just looted an unarmed damage +8 (with rescue +5) off an untrained wielder of the dark side on dant.. too bad UD is broken tho
