This aint a bug, the hunting excellence badge is awarded in a different set of qeusts in eyyt, the guides on page 1 of the guides atm.

Which according to the guide you referenced is from completing Sordan's bets, which we did and did not get a badge

posted from the guide, go to these waypoints, kill them, loot them, and inspect the loot you get off of them

Greyclimber (bantha) -275 484 (eye) - Iluna Mystuk
