Here's a thought I'll probably get flamed for in this thread....YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A JEDI!

Why would becoming a jedi be made easier if they are still trying to limit the number of jedi? As it stands now, people still grind but there's more of a story to it, (if people took the time to read the conversations with the NPCs) and people aren't changing professions all the time. This might reduce afk entertainers (not by much) and now everyone knows how much work getting a jedi will be, then maybe not as many people will attempt that long grind. It isn't a perfect situation but I think a fair fix.

Read the stories to it? There are 5 quests for kidnapped villagers for Whip, and probably about the same for the rest of the quest-givers. I don't know, I started with Enhanced Reflexes and am stuck in that for 3 weeks. Fine, though, because 4 of the trees I am filling are the Enhanced Reflexes trees.

So anyway, there are about 20 stories to read. It took me just two hours or less to do all the quests for Whip. After that, what? no more quests, just grind xp.

If ya ain't been there and done it, you don't get a T-shirt. :->

This grind is seriously easy. Not only that but u get loot while u do it. Not too bad of a deal if u ask me.

Just think of having to grind dancer ID or musician. Then tell me it's harder lol

Why is everyone talking about 20 million xp?

It's about 1.2 million xp per branch. 6 branches makes the total grind 7.2 million FS xp. If you use combat prof, that equals 115.2 million weapon xp + 11.52 million combat xp.

If you can grind 900k weapon xp and 90k combat xp in 2 hours, that makes the total grind 256 hours of playing. If you grind 2 hours a day, it's gonna take you a little more than 4 months.

UMMMM.. I thought It was not supposed to be easy to be a Jedi. Yet most seem to think it should? Too many running around as it is lol. I think it should have been extremely hard in the first place.. ! Just my thoughts.
