So I was testing with this some more yesterday and I was trying to get my macro to automatically click on the next leg of the journey when I touched down at the first starport and it would never work even though I swore it worked once.
Then after I'd given up I had my tickets in the toolbar and was heading back to Theed from Talus. I landed in Coronet and without moving my toon clicked on the Coronet -> Theed ticket and it worked!!!
Unfortunately since I didn't turn and look I didn't see how far I was from the ticket collector, but it looked like I was in the same general area where I usually land, not especially closer to the collector.
Has anyone got anything to work consistently on making multiple shuttle hops while afk?
BTW... Mucho Kudos to OBO on all the research he did for this Cool A$$ command.

no I love this command is fantastic but there are times I land and it wont buy coz it says im too far from the machine, like to see the devs develop this more. I travel alot and truly dispise the waiting 9 mins for a shuttle.

daltonj001 I tried the same thing today, but by following the transport before using the tickets. It worked well most of the time, as it does make you walk closer to the shuttle, but it didn't always work (when the ticket was used nothing happened). More testing to be done.

I played with this last night and it was maybe 75% working. /tar tra works great as does follow. Then you have to add a /stopf I think because I kept getting a message saying "can't board while running" or something like that. So I did that and it would follow over to the shuttle and automatically go to the next destination.
BUT.....
Sometimes my macrokeptstoppingwhen I shuttled. I don't know why this happened, but I'd land at the next starport and the macro had simply stopped so it wasn't clicking the tickets or auto-following the transport. I had added in some extra commands (/sample to get my surveying IV done) and had increased the delay between commands, but I don't know why the macro would stop running. I'm pretty sure it usually kept running when I shuttled.

Another good tip is to make a Macro that consists of: /board trans
Then go into Control-O, Controls tab, Kepmap button.
In the keymap window, click the "Custom" tab, and scroll through the list to find your macro for /board trans
Highlight it and remap it to an easy to remember key combo. I prefer Control-B.
Then anytime you buy a ticket, hit Control-B (or whatever key you set it to) and board the shuttle (if it's in the port). No more clicking on the droid, or typing in the command, or putting the ticket on an f-key

Hi Obo,
Love this post! I've been using this for a couple of weeks now since I saw your first post and it's greatly improved the travel experience. Not to mention that i'm able to purchase all the tickets for a trip in the player city i live in and the city appears to receive their tax, thus supporting my city!!
Great job!
