In any case people having grinded profs will be rewarded, moreover this publish isnt really for the casual players considering the Huge amount of XP to get to Padawan.
Trust me you'll still have to go through a lot of things to unlock. The difference being the casual player will be able able to unlock. but it'll take him a lot of time, where the usual Powergamer will make it in 3 months (a lot less if you have some holo credits)

definitely, you have to find others things to do in your life than to play SWG. it's for sure a nice hobby, but always remember between IRL and IG, always go for IRL.

Of course no for who mastered their skills with 4 holos + 1 slient..
I will not wait for 4-5 months.. I will go until i have 32 master.. I will want my jedi when i finished this task.
All the badges you get from playing that much MIGHT get you into the village
And in any case it is more like 36 weeks (4 phases at 9 weeks each) from entering village to padawan so you will be waiting more than 4 - 5 months if you have not done your 4 holos at least.
Basically - you can continue to grind all 32 professions if you wish but it will in no way what-so-ever guarantee you jedi

Then you will be wanting for a LONG time. You won't get it. Easier for you to master a combat profession, do a themepark, and run around looking at POIs.
Then go to the villiage, unlock your branches. Then... Max out your weapons and combat XP 30-40 times to convert to FS XP. Yeah - it takes a LONG time. Some people won't want to be a jedi after they realize the time and effort it will take.

Starting from scratch in the village no-one can unlock in less than the time it takes to go through all phases, which according to dev chat on stratics and other indicators will take 36 weeks, bit more than 3 months

Again, NO!
And SOE doesn't have to do anything. The whole point of P10 is to make jedi more difficult to attain and introduce an actual timesink. That is why the village phases in RT. No matter how hard you grind, if the village isn't in the correct phase, no soup for you.
And lots of people have been playing for 18hrs a day to get jedi.... it's called afk macroing, and that's going away too.
One thing I don't know for sure however is how hologrinding credit will work for those who didn't unlock. TH has said that it will be fair, but other than that we're still waiting on an official announcement.
Hopefully they will have it set up so that only professions mastered b4 p10 give credit.... otherwise the whole patch is a waste.
