Great potential, but why do I have to enter name/adress and all that other crap? Made me not registering.
And the "Just added auctions" bit on the front page is really silly as it don't state what galaxy it is;
-Yay, a 300damage T21 up for sale!!!!!!1111oneone
-Wait, it was on <insert serverI dont play on here>, crap!
(Writing here cause I'm quite sure the site owner have an account here too.)

Seems to work much like the the marketplace for diablo. Great! I have been hoping to see a site like that

This site has had Zero listings for a good while now.
Someone on my galaxy's trade forums was trying to promote it. That lasted about a week...this will simply never take off. Galaxy Trade works fine.

Are you really sure you're even talking about the same site? This one says it's only been around since August 16th.

Grisbilen, I remembered someone saying something about this...
But I thought i'd let you know I just saw a news thingy at the site stating that both of your concerns about the name/address stuff and the "just added auctions" etc has been changed, whichever..
Here is the link to the news article...

I disagree, the in-game chats will never be efficient enough. It's too hard to reach buyers and get top dollar, or close to for your items. You just can't get to enough people. So if something can enhance a game players experience, then lets do it! That's my opinion.
With a site like swgauction.com people can easily appeal to possible buyers, and buyers can find exactly what they are after in no time. And if you just like to browse until something catches your eye, they have an all auctions per server listing coming very soon, or in the meantime use the search like i do.

Bwahahaha, I have the power! Maybe I should suggest that I should get an ingame fee for every auction made ![]()
But seriously, this is a step in the right direction, it has to be easy and fast to get started or people will not bother.
The author should try to exchange links with swgcraft.com and similar sites to get as much player traffic as possible. The site is very smooth and professional so it would be fun if it should take off.

Its kinda dumb to go out to the web for a in game item. Its apart of a game! In game! People are so ridicUlous. Ive always thought the galaxy trade boards were kinda silly. Its what your suppose to do IN game people! WTG for the trade chats in game now USE them!

Well, he has links TO those sites such as swgcraft.com, but only a few have links back, like swgpad.com.. Maybe he's tried and they aren't responding?
