Hello,
you canm, for example as Master TKA with a full composite armor, full buffs (doc + dancer and maybe musician buff, too), then some brandy and some good food, lots of Center of Beings and a good knuckler.
But this will eat up your time. :-)
Hunting in a team is more fun.
i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see a master TKA take one of them on, assuming i have 6 hours to spare to watch the fight. Knuckles are Light AP, nightsisters have heavy armor. They are 100% resistant to kinetic damage initially, and MAYBE before they die they have 70% resists to kinetic as they start to die. Master TKA's would only be useful for tanking perhaps, although obviously a swordsmen is a MUCH better choice for a tank since he can hit mind, and chances are there shooting end there will be a rifleman or two with t21's .
As for solo'ing? I used to be able to solo them as a master brawler/master swordsmen and some medic. Key is to Use synthsteak when you need to regen. Mind Buffs are key. i ALSO find Mandolorian wine very valuable, 10 minute buff to the secondary regen stats. I like 1-2 ahrissas also, usually 1 if i am mind buffed. sometimes none depending on what weapon they whip out melee wise. if its a stun baton, RUN LIKE HELL! lol

If so, how is your template?
And what über gear do you have (skilltapes, ackley hammers ect.)
Thanks

Yes. Easily, no. Stacking melee defense and enhancing dodge with food is pointless against them. If your armor holds up to their dominating attacks and you can first aid before the bleed dries you out then the answer to your question is yes a master swordsman with good speed medic abilities, regular buffs, and mind buffs can solo an elder. With a 277 - 736 hammer and maxed speed it takes me 10 - 15 minutes to kill one. My armor gets shredded and the bf goes up 200 some points whilst the loot often results in cargo pocket or an amount of credits that wouldn't even cover 1/4th the cost of the flight ticket home. Well that was off subject anyway the answer is yes.

Aye, but it's often worth the excitement of the fight (and now and then you get something good :smileywink

are you sure you solo them as TKM? they are 100% resist to all except Blast and Energy !!!!!
the best profession shall be Swordsman ( Blast Dmg with PH) and the second one Rifleman ( Energy Dmg with T21 )
Check this two profession forum and you will find plenty of advice for template and trick in order to solo them.
Yes. We were two. I killed all the smaller Nightsisters that were adding to the fight, the other guy only bashed the elder. :-) The combat did last around 45 to 50 minutes.
Not very effective, but it was a test.

I am interested in seeing the damage number floating above the Elder's head. If any. I know that many months ago both my brother and I stacked both intimidates on one and he actually damage her with TKM. Albeit it was only in the 40s. This was right after starting the battle so her resist had not dropped at all. If this technique was used, it would take far longer than 45 mins for TKM to take one down. I do get a chuckle outta TKM that think they can kill everything though. I suppose one can, though I wouldn't want to be the tool standing there for a buff session doing 30-50 dmg thinking I am awesome.
