Thread: How to bind Chat Edit Copy and Chat Edit Paste ?
A friend of mine has used control-alt-c and control-alt-v without problems for copy and paste.
Just an FYI to anyone new to doing this, you can't "copy" fromthe ingame email window where you read the email or the macro window where you read it either, you must take an email and click forward to be able to copy the text, or in the case of macro's you need to be in the window where you edit it, to copy you must be in a window your able to type in.

you can also access your notepad outside of the SWG client via C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxies\profiles\\notes.txt
This does not exist on my computer. Is there another directory I should look? I see a chatlog.txt file but all it contains is the info of when I have logged on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to copy a long conversation from the game. A freind taught me some pretty cool stuff and I would like to save a copy of our conversation.
Thanks!!!

Make sure you are in the Mainaccount directory, not one of the Server directories. Once you go into the folder with your account name on it, you should see a folder for eachserver you have a character on, as well as a number of additional files. One of these files will be called notes.txt. Dont go into the server folders,or you wont find it. If you have ever used your notepad, it will be in this spot, there is no other location. If you have never used the notepad ingame before, this file will not exist as far as I know, or if it does, it will be blank.
