Great idea, Tiaga. I like how it is decorative and helps your customer.

You got Zahr'ina. I always knew they had to be useful for something.

Edit: Ooh, forgot to make a comment on something... Very nice tip on the sitting thing. I'd always just lined myself up straight my turning until there were no jaggies on the building map's lines. That works great for the 4 cardinal directions as once I'm lined up I can just take a step in any direction and be facing that direction, so it lets me move things in any direction without re-lining up. For any direction I can't do directly, I can just do it by moving in 2 directions to get the same effect. I originally did that to line myself up with other dancers for performances, so I was already pretty good at it. However, I can see where the sitting would be a better alternative even for me. For example making a perfect circle of evenly spaced angles. Doing that my way you'd have to make with the trig, which would be a pain to say the least.

Hey check out those abs on Mr. September! Woo!

What a great idea to use the short wraps, they even look like sashes are gathering the curtain.Beautiful display overall. It's great to see a design that looks good as well as serves a purpose. The large amount ofhouse spacethis must take up isn't that lamentable considering it's usefulness as a tailoring showcase... but you say you have another display in the same house?

Good idea Kurrin too on using a chair to turn yourself.... man why didn't I think of that? =P hehe just teasing. Thanks for meantioning meat alllately considering how little time I've had to play these days.

Heh, I was just about to quote him and give you credit for it Zel. It really has saved me hours on end and I've mentioned it and you fathering the idea in several other threads, now I just mention the chair as a means in case anyone missed the earlier ones. Besides you are always going to be #2 in my book (sorry, but I'm going to be a bit biased towards my own works ) some of the things I saw just blew me away. Next time you're on you'll have to come and see my Rebel equivalent go Gdog's house, I'm just about finished up with it and could use some constructive criticism.

As for his other showcase (oh I'm Babur by the way, Tiaga) it's really just ingenious. 2 glass tables work as separators for pants, shirts, and then a model of a full outfit on top. It's sort of like a circular clothing rack but modernistic. As well as a few wall displays on top of master lvl end tables.

I had kind of guessed that's who you were. Dunno why but I did.

For those who thought the top looks like shorts.. Yep. Theres 15 people lined up on top mooning us.

I've taken down the display on top of the circular rack. May put up something else at some point.. But space is getting right and if it comes down to it I'd rather display outfits. Only the color chart and necklaces are guaranteed not to go anywhere.

Its still ashame on the limited amount of items we can place in our homes to decorate them.

Mostly house showcased like so many others will beef up the main room and leave the rest of the rooms wither empty or scarcely furnished.

Actually I always try and make every room have something and I"m sure a lot of other decorators do as well. However a main room will always have the most detail and items allocated because it is the main room and the one most people see and care about.

altho i think project like these waste a lot of space that you have in ur house.. most people that have this kinda project have empty spot here and there...

which make the overall house looks kinda dull..

that's just my personal opinion

I personally thing the number of items in housing/structures should be increased to drastically support more people using creative ideas like this, to me one awesome display and the house space is used upand there's no room left fornormal items, such as furniture (anyone actually been able to decorate or funish every room in a guild hall, or a large house for that matter?). Kind of a waste in my opinion, allthou nice to look at.

It's a stretch, I tell ya. The house that appears on the front page of the SWG SOE site (with the fishtank and the fireplace) is mine. That house is a large Generic (style 2 I think), and in it I managed to get a Kitchen, Dining Room, Bathroom/sauna, Bedroom, Living Room and even a couple of pieces in the entryway. And a weapons collection on the wall. But, luckily this kind of house has relatively few rooms in it (5 total).

However, the other style large Generic house I just did for someone had a few more rooms (10 total), so I had to skimp on the Dining Room and TV Room a bit. Most of the item space was taken up by a fishtank, fireplace, kitchen and an artwork display (with enclosing glass-esque case). I wish Ihad beenable to put more into the house but I ran into the 250 limit and couldn't compromise any of the nicer displays to add more amenities.

I too wish they would go with the 75 items/per lot. Then, they can either up the amount of space in a large generic, or reduce the number of lots to 4. And PA Halls...man, so many rooms, so little space! 9 lots, it should have 675 item storage in it!

Well,we can dream

The trick is you con someone else you know into owning the shop. Neither of the tailors own that place. I certainly couldn't, as I also own a cantina, and my own large house I had to have someone else hold. The rest of my lots are harvesters and storage.
