I'm looking to do the vette on lowca as well Tarayn, I'm stuck doing the imp version though as a freelancer.

vette is all I have left too - I'm in the smuggler's alliance. That might be outside my play window though.

I am doing the knight trials and I went on the Corvette and there was about 30 Super Battle Droids and all the other assorted NPC's. Does that seem like alot of SBD to be on the mission. I did mission when it 1 st came out and never remember it being like that. Please give me somne replies. thks

Nope, that sounds about right. I think the trick is to get 5 of the lower level NPC's to agro you on the first level and then no more NPC's (including SBD's) can agro you. Have not tried that, though.

another option is fiegn death....
but as for the 5 mob thing if you can get the 5 and only 5 to agro you can run through out the lower lvls of the ship unattacked but since the new changes when they shoot they will aggro more than 5

As a Vette vet 
I can tell you without a doubt that the 5 aggro limit has been stealth raised to a minimum of 10 (if not more), as I used to use that little trick to aggro all the mobs I could on the upper deck- where the 1st loot spot and disc are found- and could usually stroll through the rest with no extra aggro at all.

If you're looking to complete the Novatrooper trial with an easier method than getting swarmed on the Vette,I would recommend just roaming the wild on Naboo or Yavin (Naboo would be easier, less aggro spawns to bother you) until you come across one of the newer "crackdown"spawns, which usually spawn at least one Nova trooper, without having to worry about 1,000s of SBDs swarming you. Though I would bring a friend or two that have a good tanking templates and/or the ability to heal pretty well in case one of the super troopers (can't remember the names, all black 300k+ HAM, heavy armor) is in the spawn, that way they can draw the heavy fire away from you while you work towards completing the trial.

I found 3 of my 4 nova troopers near eachother on Tatooine, SE of Mos Eisley if that helps

So, when I, as an imp, hyper into kessel, am I close to the "entry point" for thevette? I ask because I dont wanna stumble on this thing, kill all his escorts and have him hyper out on me just as I start my attack run...(again) lol....have killed tons of gb's....never got the chance to practice on a vette yet (that rhymed) because of the afore mentioned problem...btw, saw the capitol ship vid....FREAKIN AWESOME!!! I realllllly want to do that...walk around it and even have my own...

Thanks a ton....I think i can solo this vette, but i'll wait for my g/f to get off work so she can feel helpful and possibly get some space xp, plus I want her sitting next to me when i kill this sucker!!!
