Good grief. I'm seeing the same crap everywhere. I miss the days when the forums were flooded with Anti-Haden, Anti-Jedi posts. At least some ofthose ended up constructive.

Here is my advice.

RELAX. Go outside and take a breather and come back. Or, actually follow the guides on the forums on how to possibly get a visit faster. No one is passing you by. Everyone (unfortunately) will get a shot at the Village and FS/Jedi status if they have the right badges. You just need to learn some patience. This isin't something you can grind and powergame in a day or two.

shut up, obviously you have no idea how the new system works. No one is "passing you by" you can only unlock one skill column per 3 weeks no matter how fast you grind. You will get a couple free columns because of your holo credit which will let you get Jedi sooner than anyone else who has less holocredit than you even if they already got to the village. Be prepared to wate at least 1.5 months to get to padawan too, and again it dosn't matter at all how fast you can grind.

1. if you mastered 21 professions and every single possible POI badge then i can almost guarantee you that you will be leaving the village before those who did not.

2. nobody is beating you getting FS xp unless you are currently maxed out on weapons and combat xp. go stock up, and use the time to your advantage.

3. once you get in the village, unlock branches (superfast if free unlocks, 2 hours if quest unlock) so that you can use your saved up weapons and combat xp to convert to FS xp, and train your skills. if you are a hologrinder you will have surpassed every non-hologrinder in the village.

dunno what else to say.

I acquired my glowing status on Wednesday. I had to do one more content badge despite having a vette badge, a Warren badge, and 45 Exploration badges. I did not fret, however, and did my required part.

I achieved the status of glowing, and have since ventured out in meditation to get my visit. I have sat, fished, foraged, and stood in many places, both within player cities and outside of them, in addition to trying the 'shuttling' technique, in which you shuttle from player city to player city until he appears.

The results of my activites are as such: I have not received a visit.

The real kicker of this is that I have played this game since opening day, unless of course you would like to count my time spent in Beta. Either way, my character is as old as this game. Prior to release, those of us anxious to play the game were told it would take about a month of playtime to master a profession (I'm not joking) and at least a year to become a force sensitive.

Well, it has been a year, and as the wonderful Bane pointed out, many new players are running around with Jedi tags in their titles.

I'll give this old guy some time. If he doesn't show up after another day, I am off to hunt. If I don't see him once I master the curent combat profession I am working on, I will cease to play this game.
