Im still confused........Do you have to do phase 1 to become a jedi or not? I mean if you complete the quest but dont get the skills form the said quest can you still be jedi?

I don't think you need to do any quests in phase 1 in order to do any quests in phase 2. In otherwords, they aren't interdependant on each other. All youneed to do is fill six tiers to unlock to jedi, those six tiers can come from any phase.

The fact that Phase 1 doesn't help the jedi template is a good thing IMO, it encourages an even slower progression thru the quests so that the Jedi population doesn't explode in a few months. Powergamers should never be catered to since they are usually the ones who make the game unfun for everyone else anyways.

Ok, sorry for the word "powergamers". What I mean to say, is that anyperson who is soley set on going straight for Jedi, and Jedi alone will have little to no use for phase 1. Phase 1 is good for those of you who want to "dabble" with their force skills and improve upon their current characters or whatnot.

What knowledge do you possess that says that the skills available in phases 2,3,4 will be any better? Why would there be different skills in different phases? Once you become a padawan, you are going to unlock a new character slot anyway, so you could always have your main as a jedi and your alt as whatever you please.

Anyone going straight jedi worth his weight wont be wasting valuable exp during phase 1. The only stuff we get to choose from is garbage during Phase 1.

If you are going to be a superior Jedi, you will have no need for Ranged Accuracy, Survival, Crafting and Medicine.

Nice thinking Devs! Now we get to dougle/triple upon phases!

Phase 1 is geared towards "dabblers", no room for powergamers.

Whatever dude. I used my two trees to unlock skills I enjoy and filled them to level 4. I also received a piece of art, I can put in my home and a kickass crystal. Have fun with your game and try to be more positive. PUB 10 is awesome and I promise you WON'T see a full server of Jedi's. By the time you make Jedi, all the holo grinders would have moved on (population control).

ThisPUB makes my character worth more to me, brcause I didn't create him to open a new slot... I created based off appearance and beginning skill. I know not everyone feels this way, but it willagain be Star Wars Galaxiesand not KOTOR online. Just by looking at your join date, I would have thought that you were more inline with creating your character and not hologrinding and this PUB is a way to do that. Just my 2 cents.
