ummm I've lived in colorado all my life and I have experienced the following:
- Tornados (in Aurora, the Tech Center, and out by DIA)
- Earthquakes (well tremors, and aftershocks of big Cali quakes)
- Piranas in Cherry Creek Resivoir to bite my legs off
and prarie dogs the size of polar bears!

ya but you get blizzards..you turn around for 15 seconds, the temperature drops 30 degrees and your house is buried in snow 
okay, I never lived or visited colorado for one but I heard rumors , I like michigan just fine, fair snow, hot summers.
