As long as you run past it and don't stop it shouldn't shoot at you. You don't even have to burst run. I've done the Warren many times and it has never shot at me (other than the first time I was there ).

I took a guildie through, cause we got tired of doing the same thing every night, and it fired on him, but not me. We were both wearing 80+ energy comp, so when it hit him, he ended up with 200 damage or so. It shot at me on the way out, but missed. With buffs, shouldn't be much of a problem.

I deactivated it 2 nights ago and it did not shoot at me. There was also another guy in there and he did not get shot either.

it's kinda buggy, I've run by it and been killed by it. One of the better tactics is sick a droid on it so it's distracted for about 1 shot.

Better yet, send in a noob in front of you...

I've found that it does the opposite of what the security system says..

If you get the meassage that the turret has been deactivated, it is active. If you get the message that says it's active, it is not...

But the easiest it still to just run past it...

There are 2 badges that you get from the Warren.

The first being the compassion badge when you give a letter you take from a corpse to a woman trapped in the bottom of the warren.

The second is the final badge when you take all 4 evidence disks to an npc imperial in the palace at theed.

I havent been targetted by the turret as I just ran past it, so i believe it is bugged

The damn turret dbed me after i targeted it i rezzed ran fast unlocked elv then ran like hell away and just got out of the line of site in time... but i lost my buffs
