Thread: Nym Missions guide
Ok the guy that everyone seems to be looking for...Cedric Foxx. He is the retired engineer in the cantina. Not the retired imperial captain the retired ENGINEER in the second cubby in the cantina. He says all the information that Jinkins tells you he knows including the elusive pass key for the sulfur pirate stronghold. Once you talk to him you know what I am referring to.
He changed his name and identity to hide from the pirates. His new name is Choster. So now everyone can stop looking for him. I believe someone owes me 50k now please.
His exact coordinates for the lazy or unintiated are 517 5057.
Good luck and your welcome. Now someone give me stars!!

THX so much i looked for about3 hours and couldnt find it (about 3 weeks ago might have been bugged)for that HD and now im gonna go back with the info you gave me. THX again
Just finished this up last night. Great trophy. To tell you the truth, with the min damage at 100 and the acid attack, it's worth having this gun. I got it sliced for speed, so now it is 3.5. I tested it out on some game last night and it worked fine.
As for the droideka, heh, I just walked past them. Didn't even notice me. Most of the agros in the place didn't notice me. Is it me, or did the missions in this one all go from hard to easy?
Just so no one thinks they are going crazy, this mission was bugged before the mounts and cities patch. When Nym gave you the waypoint to the third mission, it pointed to an empty area just outside the cantina. I just went back to talk to Nym last night and he now gives you the correct waypoint.
Nice thread. Could have saved me a bit of time if I'd seen this earlier ![]()
I finished the missions successfully on Chimaera earlier. Only "bug" was that for the 2nd two missions none of the NPCs aggroed me, so I just tiptoed in and out without annoying them. Although I couldn't resist taking on the droideka after I examined it and saw it didn't DB unlike all the normal ones.
Thats what I was going to add the driodeka wont DB. The first time I did the gas and mem missions they were bugged and they kept giving me the missions over again, I finally did it and stored the nade casing and disk because it was two days before the patch so I havent turned in nyms items yet.
As for the three questions, its no big deal if you get them wrong because you can just keep doing them over.
1. womprat question: Sir
2. color question: orange
3.number sequence: dont remember
Awesome guide man. Thanks!
I also found a NPC named Iwilpoo in the base on the last mission. Found it to be...disturbing. ![]()
LOL. Yeah, I saw that guy, too. I didn't sound out his name until you just pointed it out on the boards. ROFL!
Very nice guide.. I just completed Nym's quest like 10 minutes ago using this walkthrough. Yes, you do get a badge now, but if you read the Stratics dev chat transcript from this past week, the devs said they are working on making theme park badges retroactive. ![]()
Hmm.. I do have one question tho.. you said you think Nym has one of each quest item in his house.. I wonder if those green luminescent flames are a quest item? He has two of them on either side of his desk. I remember seeing the same fire next to Luthik in the Jedi Temple.
great guide. finished nym's quest last night. very helpful. first two missions were pretty easy. mission from Jenkins, the first guide, is not bad, most of the supposed pirates just let me run thru the cave without too much difficulty. The second mission from Kole, the lilo and stitch looking fellow.. was very easy, none of the supposed crazy miners even touched me. went all the way thru their cave and nothing. guess i hadgood crazy miner faction. The last mission, however, from Nym, a little more difficult, had to take out a 10k ham droideka. but not too bad. just hit him a few times, he does not follow you out of the room he is in. Then none of the other red targets even attacked me. The most difficult part of that mission was finding the hard drive. Which was found in a cubicle area. Not a case, but it looked like an office cubicle. Fake walls and everything, i work in a cube, so i found the whole thing quite funny. imps and cubicles.... lol. Other than that, getting to and from the missions was kind of a pain, 2 imp cities banned me from using their shuttle ports. Did not provoke them, they just banned me. Oh well. must have seen the RISK guild title with me. Guess they were a little mad we keep pasting them at their own cities. hehe.
