Wow, it worked.. 5 stars for you.
I hated the 11.5 inventory change.

If there's a "change view" setting on the factory input hopper, you should be able to do the same thing for factories. I haven't tested it though.

Amazingness!!!!This methodworked whenI sorted by name first and then volume
Why did they mess with this in the first place? Only thing I'd rather have is being able to move things around in my inventory by dragging and dropping it, other than that the original system worked best. *goes off to tell the guild about this wonderful breakthrough*

Nice find Starcloud, 5 stars
Maybe someone should tell the devs about this so the can write more code for us to figure out first lol.

That's very odd that it didn't work for you. Hmm.
Try going into c:\windows\prefetch and deleting all the files in there, if you're running Windows XP.
The prefetch folder holds copies of programs so that Windows can load them faster, but the prefetch folder doesn't always have the most recent version of the program. It's harmless to delete those files, and it forces Windows to update the folder with the most recent version of the program.
What I did that caused this to work was I clicked on Change View, then on Name, then on Volume, then on Change View again. This gave me a half-sorted inventory, with most of the equipped items up top. Then, when I logged back in the next time, my inventory had all the equipped items on top, and my newly looted items were at the bottom.

Awesome!
Worked great for the inventory window..... Any ideas about how to get my schematics and waypoints sorted back the way they were? There is no volume button on those and they didn't get fixed when my inventory did.
