- It's time the devs end the bitter fighting by giving the community a Non Jedi server. We have a few servers with TINY populations that could be changed to this ruleset. I support this idea because it punishes noone. - You can support it too. Click Here!

Crewing on a YT is fun despite the hazards (wounds can be healed). Did it last night.

Would love to be on board one with a full crew and fighter escort.

- I support keeping & balancing the current combat system You can too

The guide is decent.

I wonder however if the 5-8 people that run the ship wouldn't be better off running in their own ship. Is it really worthsacrificing that many people/ships to run a Mulitplayer ship? It could be fun sure, but is it practical (I've had no expirience with multiplayer ships).

The most vital, important thing to consider is that the primary focus of playing this game should never be XP and tangible reward. Those things are important, yes, but running around Kessel in an MP ship with a good crew can be an absolute blast. Working together as a team, interacting with friends, and generally having a good time are, to me, far more important than XP and how much money I can make per 5 minutes. I'd much rather spend three hours not making a dime but having a great time messing around with friends than grind solo missions for three hours to horde all the money I can get.

I wasn't talking about credits or XP. My thoughts mostly centered around large scale player combat.

That's cool, I wasn't necessarily suggesting that's what you meant. Personally, if I could take 7 friends with me into space, I'd rather go in the Nova. More than that would make a nice fighter escort, which the MP ships do need from time to time. They're incredibly fast and maneuverable for their size, but all the twisting and turning is hell for the gunners.
