I wanted to get the Exceptional Guide one, but after getting thousands of messages from newbies saying "Can u spare some money plz?", I got too irritated to try further.

There are simply no CSR out there who can give badges of this kind.. and if... its totally subjective.
Other from tha badge that a buffbot got, for being outstanding at her profession... but that was an error.

you can't convince me that they are still giving out these badges. I've been complimented on my bio many times. I've just taken events that have happened to me ingame and wrote them like a bio. I help many folks that don't know things, need help, or just a couple of tips. I'd really like a badge, but I don't get my hopes up.

You know, if you REALLY want one of these badges, the best way is to attendadvertised player events on your server. Pex and other community people (I forget what they're called. They're not CSRs, all they doare in-game live events) go to these quite regularly and they'll hand out badges and such as well. It's hard to get seen just running around like normal.

All of them badges are given by Devs & CSR's "in game".
If your lucky enuff to find themin game, that would be your shot.

Maybe I'll run around spamming/asking people to read my Bio. Eventually one of them might be a CSR

I got the brave soldier for fighting the tuskens during a tusken raid on Bestine....only memorable personality one I saw was that overweight dancer in Coronet on Starsider......

My Question is, How exactly do the CSR's decided who is worthy of a special badge or not? Some of the stories above describe events of no communication, but just all of a sudden you get a badge out of the clear blue sky(or other colors depending on what planet you are on). Now how are you judged if the CSR does not even know your personality or whatever? I think it should be the players decision of who should get the badges. I know alot of my friends that have helped me and other people out. But did they get a badge? NO! I think we should beable to email in our submissions of who and why they deserve the badge. Then the badges should be distributed accordingly. Just my thoughts.....

heh on kettemoor, like half a year ago i saw a girl with the great bio badge
her bio was very generic 'my parents got killed and i got put into slavery as a dancer' routine
she said one day she got stuck and called a CRS and after talking to the CRS and getting help they chatted and he gave it to her
aka i think she flirted with the CRS(not saying she did to get badge... i doubt she knew about the badges then, back then there was like 4 badges u could get, total) and he gave it to her lol
probably situations like that =|
person gets in a bind and calls for CRS help, talks to CRS and gets friendly and CRS is like 'i like this person!' and gives them a badge lol

I've been trying ever since launch to get the interesting bio badge and the helper badge. I've been helping everyone that I can find and I have a bio that I worked hard on for like three hours. Over a year later I still haven't gotten any badge. 
When SWG was first launched I saw some guy with a bio badge... his bio simply said something like "I was born and then I killed people". That was it. Something that took 20 seconds to write got a badge, yet the one I did (which I did multiple drafts of to make sure it was "perfect") hasn't gotten a single badge.

Would be very nice to be rewarded with such a badge like good biography, but it seems that event team members, devs or csr's to that matter very rarely even bother to make visits to european servers ( doesnt really make much of an event for them to spawn tusken observer, executioner and witch doctor to bestine and then quickly get out of the server ). I have this far seen maybe 5 persons with the special badge(s), some with bio worth it and some with certainly a generic "I kill/my (insert family member) got killed" bios.
It would certainly be nice to actually see these badges given on regular basis and not to single person who on some random occasion happened to pop up in front of a person who can grant these badges.
