So bloody typical. I see ppl complaining about loot not dropping when they are saying they are soloing elders. NPCs are bugged now into not using proper powers and weapons... not toned down (i hope). Therefore lootdrops SHOULD be tuned down accordingly... you are NOT supposed to be able to solo an Elder or something of similar power.

So if thru this bugged state u now can i think it is only fair that u do not see the same lootdrop rate...

Inflation on good loot is bad enuff, now seeing tons of guys toting around an exceptional vibro lance just makes shivers run down my back...

Have to apologize for the ppl in this thread that experienced lower droprates even before the TKM/NPC bug (has a dev ever acknowledged it by now btw) i wasnt aware that had been going on.

However if i see ppl complaining about being another FOTM rifleman and now NOT getting loot when they kill of a NS Elder in under 10 minutes, then my pity for them is out of the window in no-time.

But even you Blu_Haze have to admit that the number of ppl trying to take advantage of the bug and that are now 'solo-ing' NS for loot is very much on the rise... so the loot the nightsisters drop is now being split over a lot more ppl as well.

Then again that doesnt explain the 'disappearing' of NS bicep armor. So you might have a point nonetheless.

Hope u find some nice stuff soon, however i cannot help but puke when i see another damn rifleman selling of Exceptional Polearms becoz he can solo nightsisters now without any danger.

Going for Lord Nyax and killing him to find out some camping concealed rifleman in the hallway comes in to steal the loot becoz he was in no danger of Lord Nyax coming for his hiny just annoys me without end.

To all 'real NS hunters' Good luck...

I do see the problem, i am a swordsman and can do any nightsister but eldar. i met a rifleman and we teamed up, NS do go down fast for us (cept the ones he can't hurt). We have got alot of leather, clasps, armor shards and segments and NS lances(not good ones). the only good thing we got was a vibro lance that was pretty decent after he sliced and repaired it. I think loot for the ability of NS is pretty good, but the bicep problem is annoying.

I know alot of people who are looking, and none have found one. The loot system must be complex and it may have fallen through the cracks(maybe in a category that doesn't drop for current NPC rating), or just may be very very rare.

Please, if anyone can say "yes, i looted one last week from a Nightsister Ranger" please do. just so we know. I look forward to NS being very tough and dropping good loot, theresnothin more boring than being fearless.

I can completely understand your frustration, just the other day I put a guy in his place who was posting pics about how he was "soloing" about 10 nightsisters in the NS cave by himself when they were all obviously affected by the TKM bug and werent using thier lances/force powers. I agree that it's pretty rediculous when people brag about killing NPCs that are bugged and not even half as dangerous as they used to be, and it's sad that they expect to get great loot from easy NPCs. I've always beleived that risk should definately equal reward, and right now there is very little risk killing nightsisters since they no longer use thier force powers.

My post was simply to state that this loot problem has been going on even before the TKM bug, so it's not really related to it. The devs have acknowledged this bug, and I believe it was in the publish 8 patch notes. It may even be fixed on the test center right now, but I'm not sure. I know I'll be glad when it gets fixed though, so people can actually earn the loot like before instead of getting it easy off of bugged NPCs. Hopefully they fix the loot drops as well.

What about NS vibro motors: do they still drop?

i would imagine that they would still have to drop considering the new weapons introduced to the test center.. the Blacksun Razor Knucklers and the Blacksun Executioner Hack requires Nightsister Vibro Motors to assemble..

Its like scratch tickets. Every NS you engage you are thinking "this is the one"...then you get a Lance with mind poison. I vented..I feel better now...peace.
