i've yet to do this and am a little anxious about it. this being crafting a jetpack. i hear when u put the items into the forge the npcs spawn. what's ur guys's way to keep them off the crafter but also make sure they dont do area attacks which could 1hit a crafter?

Well first time I crafted a jetpack I didn't know where to put the team to ensure the crafter wouldn't get hit. So we had one person the designated healer for the crafter who stood right next to me the whole time. I took a couple of area shots but was healed right away. It can be nerve racking but it worked. We crafted it with 4 in total with the crafter (3 jedi and me) and since one of the jedi was designated to heal me, we had one just AI and dervish to take agro as best as they could. In the end it worked and enjoying the jetpack as a result

I wish somone would post a map with the exact spawn spot so I can better coordinate the team next time. Does someone have that out there somewhere?

I'm going into the DE room for the first time today also.

I'd love to get an idea of how the items in the room are placed and where my group members should stand as well.

Do you remember the big room in the DWB with the two big ramps? It's two rooms down from the big room with the shuttle.

Well, crafting room is kind of like that, with the crafting terminal on the top floor, facing towards where the entrance to the crafting room is (the direction from which you entered).

So have the group divided in the top two floors, on the wall farthest from the crafter, but facing the crafter, so the mobs will turn their back to the crafter and not hit the crafter with area attacks.

Thanks for the added info! This turned out very very useful!

We had 2 members go upstairs to 3F and the rest stayed with me on 2F.

I was told later that when I dropped a piece, the spawn on the 3Fstarted shooting downwards.

Me (MDE/MA) andour Doc stood between the droid and the corner of the room and the rest of the group stood at the end of the stairs on the other side of the floor and all went very smooth.

There were no incaps and no deaths during my crafting session.

I had a force crystal buff, synthsteak and some food/spices but I didn't get hit once so I think I was lucky.

OK, lemme try...(Change font to "Courier New"if it looks messed up)

---------------------------
| |
| 2nd Floor |
|_____________________ |
| |===|
| |===| <-- stairs going up
| 1st Floor |===|
| |===|
| |
-----------------|enter|---

Once you go into the room, take the stairs to the right.

The 2nd Floor looks like this.

Stairs going up to 3rd Floor
---------------------------
| |||||| |
| 3rd Floor |^^^^^^ |
| | 2nd Floor |
|_____________|_______ |
|===|

This is what the 2nd floor layout looks like (without the stairs)
---------------------------
|A | A is where I stood while crafting
|X YF | X & Y are the Mando Forage and Crafting Droid
|F |F is where we positioned our fighters
|_____________________F | F agroed the mobs that spawned on 1st Floor
|===|

The moment I dropped the Alum Mineral, my Inventory window was open so I don't know exactly where the mobs spawned, but the next moment I looked, the fighters were already on them andI didn't take a single hit.

So I assume they spawned somewhere between the droid and fighters.

The only thing I DO know is that the mobs did not spawn on top of the crafting droid.

Other hints that might help.
* We sent 2 people up to the 3rd Floor to fight the mobs there. This ended up being a very good choice.

* I believe 2 SBD's spawned on the 1st Floor andcameup the stairs. Watch out for them.

I apologize over the confusion, pls correct me if I'm wrong, but jetpacks are crafted in 2nd floor and Mando armor in the 3rd floor?

I believe so.

In the official guide thread, the crafting floors are referred to as 1F and 2F (which makes the entrance floor B1), which kinda got me confused.

We're working on a video of the raid so if anyone's interested, I'll post a link when it's finished.

totally interested

Here it is...

http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/an-yo-da/DWB_JetPack02.zip

93MB.

The fightingsequencesare playing at 2x speed.

In the DE Room scene, youfirst see the whole group heading up the ramp to the 2F.

Then 2 guys head upanotherramp to the 3F and the rest of us remaining on the 2F.

Then you seeme (Ronald) and Baby (our TKM/Doctor), both in plain clothes, head towards the crafting droid across the room.

The positioning of the fighters on the 2Fwas great andwe were able to keep the crafter and doctor from getting hit.

THIS ISTHE FIRST KNOWN JETPACK ON THE JAPANESE KATANA SERVER!!!

To confirm for those interested. The jetpack is crafted on the 2nd floor and the mando on the 3rd floor. So enter big room and go up ramp to get to first crafting stations for jetpack - second ramp for crafting stations for mando (helm and bracer)
