I believe you have to be triple-incapped by the same mob to get the legs, and they don't have any benefits (other than looking cool). Add a couple of cyber arms and you can be well on your way to playing a cyborg, or (please please someday) a droid.

even then, good luck with that. One day I tried getting a cyber arm/legs by dieing. I died... purposely... at least 30 times (that's 90+ incaps!)and got nothing. I tried every single possible trick: multiple attempts on every high-level planet, no stored clone data, clone data stored on a different planet, PVP deathblows, PvE deaths, carrying no items, carrying insured items, carrying only uninsured items, being killed by something of a much higher CL, same CL, much lower CL, death while running, standing, fighting, etc... And I tried many possible combinations of all of those and STILL no cyber limbs.

You can't use three cyber items at once.

Actually there is a female Twi'lekon Valcyn who did exactly that.Cybernetic legs, two cybernetic arms, and with a silverBH helm added to really complete the cyborg look. If I recall she said she got the legs after dying on Dathomir about 200 times or so.

Okay, I just went to Dath to try to get some cyber legs.

I got them on my 3rd death. I went out and just ran NE from the SO, ran into some Singing Mountain Clan Dragoons, and got killed three times. On my third death, I had the legs.

Just did it, like 5 minutes ago.

And I just found out that you don't get to keep the legs if you uninstall them.

i don't see how this is possible. if you already have onecybernetic limb, you can't get another one from cloning. so fromcloning the best you can do is get the legs. if you then go to a cyberdoc to get them installed, he stops after2 limbs. when you try to install the 3rd, he says 'i can't do that! i don't want to make you a... a machine!'

hehe there's a bug where you can take your cyber legs off and put them in your inventory.. it's pretty cool too bad it's a bug, otherwise i'd tell ya!

Its random

taking off any cybernetics (clone ones) using that bug would be a bad idea. if you return to the doc to have him put them back on, he will not.

so basically you got yourself a cheap way to remove the cybernetics and a useless cybernetic part for your trouble.
