Thread: FS grinders: please lay off the spawns a little

I do GeoCamp for one reason only.....its where everyone else is at, I can socialize there. I don't go for loot, I do everyonce in a while do it for XP, but the way I grind proffesions is I find 2 Points on a planet, get a buff, and WALK from one point to another killing everything in sight. Did this on Talus, and got somewhere near 125k over a 9km distance. Best way to "grind" experience and enjoy the game at the same time.

It is going to to be tough for this to change. The Dev's set the field with the good ole grind, so thats what ppl will do. Problem is with the ppl that have set up afk macros to do it.
If it is grind based then ppl will goto the best place for xp. If it was alittle more thought out, they would have had some type of system to do it that didn't interfear with the newer gamer, or the casual gamer. Once this game loses fun for them they will just save their money and play something else. I dont grind xp, no time with work/family/RL, but i do get frustrated when I have an hour or two to play and everywhere i go has a ton of ppl camping. I end up spending my only gametime trying to find a place to go, then log out killing nothing the whole time. Not to mention wasting credits on buffs and travel.
I dont blame anyone for it, this is how the game is set-up right now, and ppl are just doing what it takes.

I'm one of the fs grinders, but I usually do missions on dant to get my exp and some extra cash. I very rarely am afk when I'm on and only go afk when dancing (which as we all know can be boring at times). I do admit that I get cut throat in Fort Tusken, but that's only cause I'm tired of kill steals.
I agree with the orignal post. Although being a master jedi would be nice,thoseAFK grinders aremissing out on all the fun of getting there. I never grinded with my char and she still ended up fs.....LOL

Lets say I agree with you. Guess what, I personally only hunt random spawns. I hit endor and cap out in a few hours, gather all the meat I can, get capped on my scout, trapping, and UA -
Now I also convert my Exp. I think its a great thing- instead of capping out and not gaining anything more, you can convert it to FS- even if you NEVER EVER decide to go all the way. Something is strangly wrong with the whole concept. SOE will change the whole system again, making it somewhat more balanced, laugh, yet again. Just as soon as the next big thing comes out, give you WOW or GW for that.

There is not much you can do about this but to post on these boards. Simply due to there isnt alot of high end dungeons or whatever that gives that kind of experience. Therefore the current places are overcrowded. Buck up soldier. Hang in there

Yeah, there is already usually better loot from POI's in my experiances. They should remove the XP you get or make them instantes. They should even make the POI's timed.. You can only spend 1 hour there a day =) w000t... I do agree all the darn POI's are empty.. I travel like 1000000KM to find nothing, I feel like a bounty hunter now... Odd..

I am a fs grinder and wouldnt go near dungeons anymore. The camping is silly, there are these huge worlds out there and "straight line" griding with rancs on dath or just janta/mokk grinding on Dant is just as fast...actually FASTER than hanging out at some dungeon with a billion other FS grinders.
On top of it missions pay you money combat grinders...why wouldnt you?
